    What is CDTA’s Navigator?

    CDTA’s Navigator o�ers the convenience of a reloadable smart card or a mobile ticket to get the most out of riding NX service. There are two easy ways to pay when you use Navigator:

    PAY AS YOU GO – is just like having cash on your card or mobile phone. Pay a discounted rate for each NX ride and use the same card on regular route bus service or BusPlus.

    NX FREQUENT RIDER – this monthly pass is valid for 31 days of unlimited rides from the rest day of use from the speci�ed NX Zone. Plus, you get to enjoy access to the regular route system and BusPlus at no extra charge!

    Make sure to register your card to an online account to qualify for balance protection in case your Navigator card is ever lost or stolen.

    Where can I Purchase or Reload Navigator?

    Online: www.cdta.org. (Online balance replenishment may take up to 48 hours)

    In Person: Visit any of the more than 30 Navigator retail outlets or visit the CDTA Customer Service Center at 85 Watervliet Avenue, Albany.

    What is the Northway Xpress?

    CDTA’s Northway Xpress is a premium commuter service that runs from Saratoga County locations, including park & ride lots along the Northway (I-87) to downtown Albany. The NX o�ers coach seating with amenities such as free Wi-Fi, onboard restrooms and a climate-controlled environment.

    Where can I ride the NX?

    The NX operates from three convenient zones throughout Saratoga County into downtown Albany.

    ZONE ONE includes park & ride locations at Northway (I-87) Exits 8 and 9 in Clifton Park.

    ZONE TWO includes service from the park & ride at Milton Town Hall and from park & rides at Northway Exits 11 and 12.

    ZONE THREE includes service from downtown Saratoga Springs and the park & ride at Wilton Mall near Northway Exit 15.

    When Does The NX Operate?

    NX service operates Monday—Friday from 5:30 am to 7:00 pm, primarily during peak commute times. There are over a dozen trips from Saratoga County in the morning and the same number of return trips in the afternoon, putting you in control of your commute. The 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm trips allow for midday exibility in case you need to get home early.

    Where Can I Board The NX in Downtown Albany?

    NX buses stop at �ve high tra�c locations: Empire State Plaza, South Swan Street and Washington Avenue, the New York State Capitol, State and South Pearl Streets and at Kiernan Plaza (Broadway).

    Does the NX connect to other CDTA Services?

    Yes! Connections to other CDTA services from destinations in downtown Saratoga and downtown Albany make it easier to get where you need to go. And, if you purchase the NX Frequent Rider Pass, riding any bus at any time in the CDTA system is included at no extra charge.

    Where Can I Find NX Schedules?

    NX schedules are available at CDTA rack locations throughout the Capital Region, online at CDTA.org and via CDTA’s Navigator app on your mobile device.

    ZONE ONE (Clifton Park) is $4 per trip cash, $3.50 per trip with Navigator Pay As You Go, or $110 for Navigator Frequent Rider Pass

    ZONE TWO (Ballston Spa) is $5 per trip cash, $3.90 per trip with Navigator Pay As You Go, or $125 for a Navigator Frequent Rider PassZONE THREE (S. Glens Falls/Saratoga Springs) is $7 per trip cash, $5.00 per trip with Navigator Pay As You Go, or $170 for a Navigator Frequent Rider Pass
