Williamson County Schools Set New Record for the number of National Merit finalists

This year 34 students will reap scholarships through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Last year, there were 15 students from throughout the county who achieved the prestigious recognition.

Of the nearly 1.5 million entries, only 15,000 students nationwide will earn the scholarships this year. Finalists must score well on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test and meet other high standards set forth by the program.
