We, as a group came together to decide what to call our thriller, because our thriller is actually based around a flashback murder, we wanted to call it something similar to flashback, we first came up with déjà vu, however we thought that this is already a film title and doesn’t fit our thriller. So to find some longer, more sinister words, we looked at synonyms of flashback:

And we found a few words that would sound good as our thriller title, like recurrence, evocation, but saw recollection and really liked the sound of the word, and thought it sounded quite sinister if you put it in a thriller sense.

Before we made the decision to call the thriller recollection, we looked at synonyms of recollection, and found another word that fitted our title, reminiscence:

To make our final decision we had a quick group vote on what we should call the thriller, and it was between reminiscence, recollection and déjà vu. Our final decision was recollection as it fitted the title for our thriller perfectly and at the same time, sounds like a sinister word to use.
