WHY DO YOU NEED TO HYDRATE YOUR SKIN?
Even in the summers sometimes we fall in the dry skin trap, it might be a reason of over washing the
skin due to the sweat which results in dark patches or unwanted fine lines. Now this can be very
hard to get rid of, not to mention the hassle we need to go through while trying to apply make-up. A
dehydrated skin might be the result of rough weather, hard facewash products or cleansers, regular
hot water shower and some unique reasons as per your skin tone. Using counter cosmetics or
antidotes to heal dry skin isn’t a good idea, it has always proven fruitful to naturally hydrate the skin
rather than using any counter product to beat dry skin problem.
Today let us talk over tips to fight dry skin reasons:
1. Hydrate your skin inside out, I bet you this one as it is quiet common. Drink minimum 8-10
glasses of water.
2. Filled with fatty acids and antioxidants, olive oil keeps your skin hydrated. Gently rub the oil
before shower.
3. Wash your face only twice a day. If you have a dry skin it is essential for you to know that
over doing facewash will worsen it.
4. Do not latch yourself on hard or chemical face cleansers, if you have then get rid of it. Only
use mild face cleansers.
5. Hot showers are relaxing, agreed! But does your skin like it? It is a big ‘No’ so shower with
luke-warm water, it keeps your skin soft and supple.
6. Avocados are great hydrants. Get some avocado shake or salad in your daily diet, you can
also apply avocado face mask. I bet your skin will feel like never before.
7. If possible keep a humidifier in your bedroom, it will resist your skin from drying out.
8. Rub in some honey and let it rest on your skin for 5 to 10 minutes. In no time you will an
even tone skin as soft as a baby.
