One Bible is sufficient

For certainty.

For consistency.

For proper faith.

Page 3: Why do we hold to one Bible? - Victory Faith Centre

For certainty

“That thou mightest know the certainty of

those things, wherein thou hast been

instructed.” (Luke 1:4)

“We have also a more sure word of

prophecy” (2 Peter 1:19a)

Page 4: Why do we hold to one Bible? - Victory Faith Centre

For consistency

We should not flit from one ‘bible’ to

another in search of the ‘word’ we want!*

“… no lie is of the truth” (1 John 2:21b)

* Modern versions contradict each other AND they contradict

the Authorized Version (the King James Bible).

For proper faith

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by

every word that proceedeth out of the mouth

of God.” (Matthew 4:4)

Christians must “live by faith” (Galatians 3:11)

Page 7: Why do we hold to one Bible? - Victory Faith Centre

For proper faith

“For the scripture* saith, Whosoever

believeth on him shall not be ashamed. … So

then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing

by the word of God.” (Romans 10:11,17)

* The Scripture MUST exist now.

No holes in our faith

Page 9: Why do we hold to one Bible? - Victory Faith Centre

No doubt notes for our faith

The doubting lie of the NIV.

No nonsense in our faith

was afraid ...” (Matthew 14:30a, KJB)

No false doctrine in our faith

“For to which of the angels did God ever say,

‘You are my Son; today I have become your

Father’ ” (Hebrews 1:5a, NIV)

“For unto which of the angels said he at any time,

Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee?”

(Hebrews 1:5a, KJB; compare with Daniel 3:25)
