Since orthodontic treatment takes time to complete, we are pleased to work out a payment plan with you. Please feel free to talk to us about how we can set up a manageable and personalized payment plan that suits your needs. We accept payment by cash, personal cheque, Visa, Mastercard or Interac.

We will always do our best to ensure that any problem relating to your orthodontic treatment is dealt with expeditiously. Many orthodontic emergencies can be easily handled over the telephone so that you are not inconvenienced. If Dr. Morrow or a member of our team cannot be reached, please contact the Dental Emergency Service at 416-485-7121.

If you have dental insurance that includes orthodontics, we will try to help you understand your benefit package. In addition, we will assist with the completion and filing of the necessary forms. The type and extent of benefits that you receive depend on what your employer has nego-tiated with the insurance company.

Orthodontic treatment can enhance your smile and help to strengthen your self-confidence. However, orthodontics is about more than just the creation of a beautiful smile. Orthodontics plays an important role in improving overall oral health, and in achieving balance and harmony of the teeth, jaws and facial features. Properly aligned teeth are easier to keep clean, reducing the possibility of dental decay and gum disease. A proper bite distributes the chewing forces more evenly on the teeth and the supporting structures, which can improve your ability to chew and speak.

Orthodontic treatment is most commonly initiated during adolescence when most, if not all, of the perma-nent teeth have erupted into the mouth. The American Association of Orthodontists suggests that the ideal time to consider an orthodontic screening or consultation for your child occurs when the permanent front teeth and first molars erupt into the mouth (i.e. by age seven). For some children, a timely screening may lead to immediate treatment since many orthodontic problems are easier to correct if detected early. This type of early intervention can help to minimize or simplify future treatment needs. For others, treatment may be months or even years away.
