Rest in Peace Joe.

Arielle Mancebo came to WHPC as a student aide, and rapidly learned from the talented people at the station. She showcased her wide skill set by not only writing promos, but also mixing and voicing them herself. In October, 2014, Arielle had applied herself so effectively, she became the first intern at WHPC since the station began broadcasting in 1972. When asked about the internship Arielle replied, “It was the most incredible experience I could have ever signed up for. The whole internship was hard work, but the charged atmosphere made it feel less like work and more like fun. This whole experience has been incredible, thank you to the entire WHPC Family.”

Justin GreenbergNCC Student Justin Greenberg’s love for music and the radio industry led him to WHPC in January of 2014. His good pal and fellow WHPC personality Joe Lane introduced him to program director Jim Green, and soon after Justin became a student aid. With the as-sistance of WHPC staff members including Kim Tracy, Earl Holder, Ron Hoffman, and former students Nick Morgasen and Danny Montoya, Justin soon gained an understanding of how a radio station operates, and found a second family at WHPC. “I’ve learned so much this last year and couldn’t do it without my fellow student aides, newsman Ray Bertolino, and American Hit Radio hosts Tom and Heidi Ryan. They all make it a breeze to work for them and I can’t wait to see what the new year brings me.”
