Essential Oil Usage Chart Massage oil 1 – 2% dilution

Massage Dilution Percentages

1% is 7-8 drops of essential oil to 30 ml of carrier oil 2% is 15 drops essential oil to 30 ml of carrier oil 3% is 23 drops essential oil to 30 ml of carrier oil 4% is 30 drops essential oil to 30 ml of carrier oil (localized area only) Note: Dosages are for adults, not children or elderly.

Tissue 5 – 10 drops

Vaporization 2 – 3 drops in hot water

Diffuser 6 – 10 drops

Bath & Jacuzzi 5 – 10 drops

Shower 8 drops to facecloth or sponge

Compress 3 – 5 drops to 1 cup of water. Apply to cotton cloth and wring out excess.

Sauna 2 – 4 drops/6 litres of water. Throw on heat source.

Foot bath 2 – 6 drops added to warm water

Room sprays 10 drops per litre of water. Shake well.

Pure essential oils are a representation of nature in one of its most powerful forms. Harnessed, essential oils offer a world of possibilities to the knowledgeable user, but along with these possibilities comes a great responsibility. This is educational information and any opinions expressed here do not

replace professional medical advice. If you are ill, see a suitably qualified medical practitioner. Always use the best quality essential oils, purchased from a reputable company. Do not apply essential oils directly to skin, with the exception of Tea Tree and Lavender (still use with caution). Do not use essential oils if you are taking homeopathic remedies without consulting with homeopathic doctor first. Do not use the same essential oil exclusively over a long period of time. You can become sensitive to the oil. Always blend essential oils in a well-ventilated room. Do not take essential oils internally. Always follow suggested amount, however, use less rather than more if you are unsure of amounts. Keep essential oils away and out of reach of children. Keep essential oils away from eyes. When adding essential oil to the bath, drop directly under running water to avoid high concentration and skin sensitivity. Essential oils are flammable and should not be stored by any open flame such as candles. We have heard of self-combustion in towels folded and stacked straight from the dryer. Terms of Business

Prices Due to the volatility of the essential oil market, prices are subject to change without notice. Check our website, www.57aromas.com, for the most current prices. Prices in this list are in US dollars. Canadian dollars accepted at par. Prices do not include shipping, taxes or import charges (where applicable).

Orders Minimum order for retail pricing is $50. Orders that do not meet the minimum amount will be charged a $10 handling fee. Rush orders and special orders may be subject to additional handling charges.

Payment MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards are accepted. Personal cheques, money orders and PayPal are accepted, however your order will not be shipped until the cheque clears – usually 10 business days. A fee of $35 will be charged to any returned cheque. Terms may be negotiated for Canadian and US wholesale customers. Please ask for details and an application.

Taxes There are no taxes applied to US and international destination orders. Parcels destined for delivery in Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia Canada are charged HST. In the rest of Canada orders are charged 5% GST. BC customers will be charged PST.

Shipping and Handling Shipping rates are based on a combination of destination and weight (the greater of volumetric or actual weight). Any refused shipment will incur a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping and brokerage charges. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Products Natural products may smell, feel and look different from batch to batch, due to a variety of environmental factors. These variations do not affect the value or efficacy of the product.

Returns and Refunds All orders should be checked carefully upon receipt and any problems reported to Green Valley Aromatherapy within 48 hours of receipt of shipment. Returns are not accepted without prior authorization – please call or email Green Valley for a RA #. Any order returned without an RA# will be refused. Returns will not be authorized for any products after 30 days from the date of receipt. All returned items must be in saleable condition (product seals must be intact). Returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

The customer must indicate on all postal and customs documentation “return to manufacturer” or they will be responsible for any brokerage fees incurred. Should you receive goods damaged in transit, carefully determine the extent of the damage, photograph and keep all packaging materials and box. Notify Green Valley and the shipping carrier immediately. New items will be shipped to you as soon as damaged items have been verified. You must retain the original packing materials (or photos) until the claim is resolved. Without some form of visual verification of the damage, we cannot process a refund or credit.
