WP: You grew up in Hollywood so to speak, since your father, Ed Begley, was a well known character actor. So did your childhood influence you on becoming an environmentalist?

EBJ: Well I grew up in the San Fernando valley, and it was a very normal childhood. My dad didn’t have many Hollywood friends. He had mostly middle class friends that he knew from when he was a factory worker. My father had some very sound ideas about conservation. We turned off the lights, turned off the water, saved tin foil. He was the son of Irish immigrants and lived through the great depression. That’s how I was brought up. I don’t think my dad ever used the word environmen-talist, but he was one in his own way. He died very close to the first Earth day, so I did a lot of this stuff to honor him more than anything. I was also involved in Boy Scouts, and I got to see nature up close and personal and I liked it. The positive influences in my childhood were my dad through his conservation efforts and the Boy Scouts. But the negative influences were the most powerful. That was living in the smog. Smoggy LA in the 1950s and 1960s. By 1970, I had enough already. It was the first

Earth Day. I said, sign me the hell up al-ready. So by 1970 to honor my father I wanted to do something. My dad was big on action. He was not big on talk. “I know you’re against smog, but what are you for? What’s your solution? You’re out there making smog, so what are you going to do about it? So I started riding my bike more, I started taking the bus more. I bought an electric car in 1970. It wasn’t just good for the environment, it was good for pocket-book and it enabled me to save money and keep on moving up the ladder to Green technologies.

WP: I just saw you in a very funny web series called Easy to Assemble with the talented Illeana Douglas. You play a ghost who rides a bike. Do you purposely, or ever try to mesh your environmental views with your acting?

EBJ: My character does ride a bike, but I can’t take credit for that. It was all Illeana’s idea. Many parts are tailored to me and who I am. I’ve done the Simpsons and El-len, Ellen Degeneres’ sitcom, and Dhar-ma & Greg, and with those rolls I was playing myself, the environmentalist activist. If there is a project that speaks deeply about something that I care about,

like the environment, I’m happy to be a part of it. But you can’t limit yourself to those kind of projects or I’d never work. I will also respond to that question and say, While if I feel that a project has violence against women, or things that I really don’t believe in, I won’t do it. So I avoid certain projects, and I’m drawn to others.

WP: You did a reality show that was quite popular called Living with Ed, but I just read that you’re doing a new reality show called On Begley Street. Can you tell us about that?

EBJ: We’ve been filming that for about 1 1/2 years, and what it is, is a show that details a new green project. Living with Ed was about living in this home, which is a 1936 energy inefficient home, that I did a retrofit on and tried to make it as energy efficient as possible. I did that series for three seasons. But then there was an opportunity, it was my wife’s idea really, to buy this property that had great exposure for solar, and a really big yard for growing vegetables, and an even bigger yard for a rain water tank. It had a lot of things I wanted, and she would get something out of it too, more space and her own bathroom. And there were things for my

teenage daughter, so it just made sense, so we decided to move. I thought we should document this project of build-ing a new energy efficient home. The show is called On Begley Street. And it’s very different from Living with Ed because we cover the construction of an environmentally friendly new home.

WP: You mentioned your family, have they followed in your footsteps in being environmental conscious?

EBJ: I have three children. Two grown, one daughter and one son, plus one teenage daughter. I also have two grand-children. And yes, they have followed in my footsteps without even proselytizing. My younger daughter helps me in the garden, without me making her help me in the garden. She’s always invited to go to rallies with me, just like my grown kids were when they were young. She comes and learns about the environ-ment with me sometimes. My grown kids are greener individuals than myself. They have a lower carbon footprint than I do. They are outward bound, leave no trace, wild life experts. My grown daughter just got her degree in Yoga from India. She’s been living with a low carbon footprint for years, and my 13 year old is on her way there. She is a very green young lady. I love my wife, my grown children, grand kids and my 13 year old. There is nothing quite like family. It’s one of the great joys of life. What they become is a source of great pride for me.

WP: So there is this lineage of caring for the planet that started with your father, then you, and now your children. How does that make you feel that you’ll be a part of that type of legacy?

EBJ: It makes me feel good. There is so much wasteful behavior, and there is this quest for more and more stuff. If stuff made us happy, there would be only happy people living in Bel Air, and unhappy people living in the bush. And that is not the case. I was raised in a cer-

tain way, so I don’t think I could live in the manner of many indigenous people do, but I’ve come as far as I can, for a guy raised in a suburb called the San Fer-nando Valley in the 60s. I’ve simplified my life more than most people of my age, and I’m proud of that. I think it is good to carry that mind set on that came from my dad. It didn’t really come from the environment, it came from liv-ing in Ireland and getting through the cold winters, and difficult financial times; it was about survival. They were good environmental stewards. You lived off the land, lived off the interest, you didn’t deplete the principal, like the peo-ple on Easter Island. Someone decided to chop the last tree down. It’s in the fos-sil records. They did it at their own per-il. We are at that point in our history as well. We can keep causing more climate change, and the CO2 can go above 400 and then we are in a huge pickle. Or we can make changes, and still have happy productive lives. Having such a quest for consumerism ultimately does not provide real happiness. It gives us creature com-forts, and I’m not opposed to things, but what I caution is, there is all too often an over dependence, and a need for more and more things. Constant consumerism to go shopping, where you buy and buy is not good. Buy something good. Make it last. Learn how to fix it, and get by with what you really need and no more. Live simply so others can simply live.

WP: You’re starring on stage as the President of the United States in a David Mamet comedy titled November . With the real election coming up, have you endorsed any candidates or have you spoken to any politicians about environmental policy?

EBJ: Well I think that Obama is a better choice for the environment. Romney constantly talks, and is quite clear that in his opinion, regulations have been killing business. That’s not what is killing business. There are other forces at work including the economic meltdown and giving tax breaks to the Ed today, promoting solar panels. Photo credit Lisa Bevis.

wealthy, and destroying regulations that gave us cleaner air, like the Clean Air Act, signed under Richard Nixon by the way. There was also the Clean Water Act. We had the Cuyahoga River catch-ing fire outside of Cleveland. That was unacceptable to Republicans and Dem-ocrats alike. And we passed these laws that are very good. And they talk about these laws being onerous. What is the alternative? You can’t do business unless you’re poisoning the Cuyahoga River? Or the Mississippi River? Or the Mis-souri River? That doesn’t make any sense. To make a profit, you have to have a factory hog farm that sends pollution into our rivers? You don’t get to despoil the commons. That’s a very old law from when the original settlers came. From before that, in Europe, you were not al-lowed to despoil the commons. You can’t get wealthier by making everyone poorer. Capitalism for the profits, and socialism for the costs. They’re able to profit and then pour something horrible into our rivers and oceans? And we, the citizens have to pay to clean that up? That’s not fair! Factor those things in. Clean up your own mess. If you can’t factor that into your business plan, it’s not a good business plan. Show me pol-lution, and I’ll show you waste. Some-one is wasting resources and money. Somebody is going to have to pay. Pollu-tion is waste in one form or another. Energy or materials.

WP: You’re a vegetarian. So why and when did you decide to give up meat?

EBJ: It was my theory that if I became a vegetarian, as I did in 1970, it would be good for my body. That was my theory. It’s proven to be correct for me. It was definitely clear to me, no theory, that it would be better for the animals to not be livng in slaughter houses and die in very painful ways. It wasn’t like the old days where you ate old Bessie the cow, who lived on your hill side, and it had a wonderful life under a tree. Then you had to take it’s life so you could live and make it through the winter. That’s a different matter. I knew by 1970 what slaughter houses were like then, they are even worse now. So I decided to stop eating meat. I have not had red meat

since then. I made a decision to go back and eat fish for a while, a decision I have since rescinded. I’ve gone back to being a total vegan. But for a while I did eat fish, reasoning they had a somewhat happy life in the wild living in the ocean. But I changed my mind on that and went back to being a vegan. The reason I went back to eating fish was because I was craving salmon. Once I started get-ting enough Omega 3s in my diet, and as soon as I started eating Flax Seed oil, the fish craving went away.

WP: Is helping the planet somewhat of a spiritual experience for you?EBJ: It is. I suppose if there was a religion I was closest to, it would be Buddhism. And I feel very close to nature. I believe that universes and galaxies begin and end, and that we are part of that cycle of life. I feel very connected to the Big Bang, which all started with one speck that we all are now. All the minerals and the elements that make up our planet, and make up all the life forms. Carbon and oxygen, and the many elements that make up our bodies, well we are all one. Every-thing that you learn about science only confirms that. It’s all the same 20 amino acids in every fish, every oak tree, in every human being, and every fly. It’s all the same DNA. We are all one.

WP: Lastly, when do you think you became a whole person?

EBJ: We are born whole and we lose sight of what is important. And I’ve tried to live a life that is in sync with my beliefs and to be a compassionate being to other humans, and other life forms. I’ve tried to have some reverence for the web of life. We are at a time in history for our own survival, we are decimating the web of life. You have to ask yourself how many rivets can an airplane lose be-fore it ceases to fly? We are losing those rivets that are holding it all together. We are losing the plant and animal species. that keep us alive. I have felt like a whole person for some time now. I became aware about some important issues in 1970, and I’ve tried to stay vigilant. hese challenges are the reflection of your creations that illuminate where your conscious and subconscious

thoughts, feelings, and emotions are vibrat-ing. These challenges present you with enormous opportunities to grow and elevate your overall frequency.

We hear many of you say, “These challenges are painful!” And to that we say, “Pain is perception.” Let us explain.

The third dimension is unlike any other di-mension in that you get to explore the illu-sions of separation and linear time. It is the “operating system” of the mind that allows you the ability to view reality from a 3-D perspective. The mind also creates the vic-tim/perpetrator perspective of reality, and it is from this level of perception that you experience pain and discomfort. When you move out of the mind and move into the “operating system” of the heart, you view reality from the co-creative level.

All creation is co-created so there is truly no victim and no perpetrator, only willing par-ticipants in the exploration of frequency.

When you view reality from this level you see the service in all action, and you are able to release all judgments and attachments.

How long you remain in the operating sys-

tem of the mind and experience discomfort in any given situation is entirely up to you. You can stay there for 30 seconds or 30 years. It is your choice as an infinite being of Divine Light and, again, simply an explo-ration of frequency. There is no “right” or “wrong” choice.

So how does one access the heart center? The process is quite simple. You need only think of something that puts a smile on your face. We typically recommend an animal or a place as you often have programs running at the subconscious level about people. Hold the image. Most of you will feel warmth, joy or tingling in your heart. That’s a sure sign you are heart-centered. Some days it may feel a bit more challenging to get to that space, but keep at it as you are sure to get there.

In order to change where you are, you have to accept where you are. Your judgment sur-rounding a situation will keep you in that situation. What you pulse out is what you get back. How do you accept where you are? View it from a co-creative level. If you find yourself in judgment, pain or discomfort, put yourself in your heart center and ask yourself how the situation serves you. What do you learn about yourself by creating the scenario? Perhaps you may discover it is an opportunity for you to access more of your divine power, that it is safe to speak your truth, or love and appreciate yourself more.

Each situation holds within it the opportu-nity for healing and release to take place.

You many have resistance. If so, ask again until an answer enters your awareness. As the higher beliefs about your co-creation begin to surface, breathe deeply allowing your entire body, every cell and molecule, to experience that awareness. If you are still uncomfortable is there more to the service? The process may need to be repeated as you tend to clear in levels and layers over time. Do not berate yourselves for not staying “clear” or thinking you should have already worked through an issue. Simply acknowl-edge where you are and allow yourself the opportunity to release more judgment thereby increasing your overall frequency.

So as you enter into the season of thanks, be sure to appreciate your challenges as they can truly be your greatest teachers, showing you the path to experiencing more Divine Light and Love in every moment.

deal with any situation in the most cre-ative and healing way possible.

Let me tell you what happened to me. Eight years after awakening to my true nature, to the wisdom, love, and joy in-side me, I had three strokes over a pe-riod of five months. They were some-what of a shock because I was healthy at the time. I jogged a few days a week, had a regular yoga practice, worked out at the gym, maintained a good weight, and ate a reasonably healthy diet.

I did, however, have rheumatoid arthri-tis in my hands, which was problematic because it interfered with my work as a chiropractor. I was taking a drug, Vioxx, for my condition just two weeks before the first stroke, and maybe that triggered it. Around that time, Vioxx was pulled off the market because it was found to double the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

The third stroke landed me in the Uni-versity of California at San Francisco hospital for six days, four of them in intensive care in the neurological ward. Interestingly, a few people who didn’t know me well said things like, “Gosh, you must have been terrified by what was happening to you.”

But the truth was I had no fear. I was awake, I knew myself as consciousness, that which

is not born and does not die. True, I was now relatively incapacitated, but I just flowed with what was happening.

After I came out of the hospital, I couldn’t move the right side of my face, my right arm was badly impaired, I walked with a pronounced limp, I couldn’t think clearly, and my speech was affected. But lying in bed soon af-ter, a single discrete thought formed it-self: “Thank God I’m free.” I was grate-ful for the fact that my deeper equanimity wasn’t disturbed. Yes, I’d suffered these strokes, but I was still here, still alive and breathing, even though the veil between life and death was very thin and fragile at that point.

Then another thought formed itself: “I’m grateful that I have no fear of death, but do I want to live?” I realized, at some level, that if I wanted to live, I had to form a conscious intention to do so. You could call this an example of the right use of will. Will and intention are really the same thing. When we are established in our true nature, personal will—or “will-power”—flows from our universal consciousness. Or, as a Christian might say: “Thy will, not mine, be done.”

The freer and more awake we are,

the more we deal with any situ-

ation in a conscious, intelligent,

calm way. This is true whether it

be something as simple as a

creative block, or something

more difficult, such as a health

issue, relationship or financial

crisis, or a natural disaster. We

may not have wanted the situa-

tion—probably didn’t indeed!—

but now it is here, and so we

learn to be grateful for what it

has to teach us.

Yes, there may be an initial emotional reaction, how can there not be a reac-tion, when the doctor tells you that you have, maybe, a terminal disease, or you lose your house in a fire? But we quick-ly come back to the place where we have learned to live—right here, right now. The present is the only place of power, the place from which we can

Gratitude for the Profound teachinGs of every single Life “situation”

1�When I took stock of my life—I was only fifty-seven; my book, End Your Story, Begin Your Life, was not yet complete; and I wanted to continue to teach, to share the good news of awak-ening with others—the answer was ob-vious. Yes, I wanted to live.

So immediately I began visualizing the blood vessels of my brain opening and expanding, carrying the blood and its healing nutrients through to my injured brain and every part of my body that needed it. I took long walks every day, and began a program of rehabilitation, of speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Six months later, I’d recovered enough to go back to the gym.

The strokes had definite benefits. I could no longer work as a chiropractor which had never been my passion any-way, although I was certainly at peace with it after I realized the truth of my being. I received disability benefits, enough to live on, and now I could do the work I was in love with—writing about and guiding others on the jour-ney of freedom.

They also taught me a much-needed lesson in patience, which had never been my strong suit. When you are stricken by a stroke, you cannot do much, and you either learn to be pa-tient, or you struggle inwardly with a constant frustration at your inability to do the simplest of tasks, like tying your shoes, buttoning a shirt, or open-ing a jar.

Above all, I am just grateful, supremely grateful for the fact that I am still here, still alive, still breathing, still function-ing as a normal, relatively healthy hu-man being. I have recovered about eighty-five percent of my abilities. My speech is normal, but my right hand is still somewhat disabled, and I still have

a slight limp—and these symptoms are always made worse by cold weather, which is partly why I live in Los Angeles.

Now, how about you? What situation are you facing? Can you begin to ad-dress it in the way I did mine, by taking a deep, slow breath, and relaxing as much as you can—and then looking for the lesson? While being grateful for what this particular unwanted event, yet very present in your life right now, has to teach you?

Truly, it is the way to deal with everything that you come up against—if you want to experience the easiest, smoothest, most harmonious transitions possible.

Take physical pain, for instance, wheth-er acute or chronic. Can you simply be present with it—here, now—and breathe slowly, deeply, and relax around the pain? You don’t resist the pain, you allow whatever is there to be there. It is the “I,” the ego who doesn’t like the pain that is the problem. The freer you are of this “I,” the more you will find that the pain, no matter how severe it is, is manageable.

The freer you are of the illusory “I,” this “self” you’ve been taking yourself to be all these years, the more every-thing in your life flows smoothly and harmoniously, and even crises and chal-lenges are no longer upsetting. They are just situations to be addressed.

Above all, as Jean Klein said, you live with a deep and profound gratitude simply for the gift of being here, alive and aware, right now.

and my date and I met some of her old col-lege friends, including an old boyfriend, for a drink. I could tell he was still attract-ed to her and vice versa, but I let their at-traction to one another make me appreci-ate them both more, as I started to see what these two old friends loved about each other! I had a great experience and I was lauded with love by both of them! The bulk of the book is a constant preach-ing of the effects of taking responsibility for one’s inner space. The couple con-stantly reference their transitioned teach-er Michael Naumer, who was an absolute inspiration to the both of them. One of his great sayings was: “Don’t assign re-sponsibility for your emotional experi-ence to your partner.” Another instantly applicable tip is the rec-ommendation to have “a guest in your life.” When a loved friend comes to town, we have infinite patience with them. Mali and Joe talk about starting fresh with one another every day, like a new guest, and that keeps the physical side exciting, and prevents nagging and arguments. We sim-ply need to increase our acceptance and stop demanding our partner be like us, or expect our partner to meet our needs. The Soulmate Experience is all about meeting our own needs inside, and letting that wholeness create a safe place for others to be around and with us. The toughest part of relating to others is when someone violates one of our stan-dards, such as theft or a large breach of trust. Mali and Joe would suggest that we don’t handle these situations alone, so al-ways ask advice of a trusted friend or coun-selor, but one of the unique things they suggest are “looking through a different lens”. For example, if you look through the lens of “people shouldn’t steal things”, you’re going to be pissed if I nick your wallet. But if you look through the lens of “Everyone is doing the best they can,” you can have compassion on me because I’m struggling with lack consciousness. I can’t really say enough good things about this book and the positive effect it has had on my relationships and my happiness. If you are willing to open your heart and your mind, you have the chance to transform your life too.

s a guy who isn’t really looking for a serious girlfriend with any urgency, I didn’t seem a likely candidate to read The Soulmate

Experience: A Practical Guide to Creat-ing Extraordinary Relationships by Mali Apple and Joe Dunn. Surprisingly though, this 268 page paperback from A Higher Responsibility has given me mul-tiple strategies that have improved my re-lationships with my roommate, friends, and my parents, and I’d like to share with you some of the things I learned. Mali and Joe, the authors, have worked with couples for years (and are a couple themselves) and most of the stuff they came up with is counter to the tradition-al advice marriage counselors would give, because Mali and Joe have found that compromise, the core of the “old school” of relationship building, just causes disappointment and resentment in both parties.

Here’s an example of one of the unique strategies in the book: one woman’s partner always leaves stuff out on the counter, water on the sink, stuff out of place, and he leaves the house. Instead of getting angry, she now sees the misplaced dishes as loving reminder of this won-derful person who is in her life. I hear you saying, “Yeah, but the guy still needs to shape up.” That is precisely why the people who read this book are happier and more in love than you: they accept one another without expecting changes. When someone is free to be who they are, they can start to move into the space of self-improvement.

I tried this strategy with my roommate, who sometimes burps while I’m eating. It’s annoying, no doubt. But I re-alized it’s actually kind of funny. So by accepting him, rather than trying to get

him to stop burping, I just get a few laughs out of the whole situation. And who knows, maybe eventually he’ll stop burping of his own accord. This book is all about turning lemons into lemonade. Take jealousy for example: the trick is not to try to control what going on out there. Instead the an-swer lies in transforming what’s going on in here, in our own experience.” I was on a date shortly after reading this book,

Love never dies. It is constant. It is all around us. It is what we are made of. It is consciousness, itself. It is the very air we breathe.

s existing reveals, change is constant. Every moment is new. To receive each new

moment, one must let go of the last one. Staying present, then, is not stay-ing anywhere. It is a constant process of change–of releasing the old, and taking in the new.

Love is also constant. Love never dies. It is all around us. It is what we are made of. It is consciousness itself. It is the very air we breathe.

Take these realizations in, and you’ll activate a profound shift of aware-ness that will literally change every-thing. Letting go of the past will no longer have anything to do with the word “loss.” What has passed is al-ready “in the past,” and whether we let go or not, that is where it is, and where it will stay.

Ah, how we grieve! We grieve for lost loved ones, and lost opportunities. We grieve for lovers who “broke our hearts” by moving on. We grieve because we blame ourselves for our perceived losses, and so feel unworthy of receiving more Love.

There is no “loss.” There is only “more.”There is no scarcity of love. There is no scarcity of abun-dance. Family is waiting in NEW forms, in NEW ways that have never been experienced before on our planet. There is NO SCARCITY OF LOVE! It f lows freely, and all we need do is let go and receive.

But we know this already! We know it so well that we don’t even have to think about it – because if this was news to us, our physical bodies would not even be alive. If we hadn’t been born knowing that we have to let go in order receive, we would not breathe.

With every breath, we let go of the old in order to receive the new. We do it constantly, and we do it confi-dently. With every new NOW, we breathe in. We don’t hold our breath in order to avoid the loss of it! We simply release, and open our lungs to receive anew. We KNOW that there is an endless supply of air. And air is simply one of the many expressions of the Love we live in, all the time.

Or, because we blame others for not loving us enough, and so become afraid to open up to Love again. Be-cause…just maybe…we are not lov-able enough…

Why do we do this? Because we at-tach feeling Love to the people who love us. We forget that people are not the source of Love. Instead, they (we!) are perfectly imperfect human conduits for the Love that is Source Itself – and which IS perfect, for it is without filters. And so, we grieve the loss of Love in our lives when rela-tionships end, as if Love, Itself had ended! We choose to “hold onto the past,” rather than open ourselves to receive Love anew.

Well, I say, “Enough! Enough of all that grieving!” Holding on to what is no longer in the NOW only prevents us from receiving what IS there for us – if we opento it. Change is constant onlybecause Love is both constant and infinitely creative.

Staying Present is Not Staying Anywhere

Think about it for a moment – just to give your brain a treat. Just to re-assure the poor, overworked thing that it doesn’t have to be on top of absolutely everything every mo-ment in order to make sure you “survive.” We’ve put so much “weight” on the brain with our be-liefs in its almighty prowess that it gets burnt out trying to be in charge of everything! Just listen to its in-cessant chatter, going over and over its checklists of doubts, all day long. Listen to its endless fears that it will make a “mistake.” Have a little compassion!

The brain does not have to bear such a burden of responsibility, you know. It has been hard-wired into a vast, multidimensional support sys-tem of intelligence within you all along. This interconnected web of intelligence can do many things to-gether that the brain cannot do alone. Why not give your brain per-mission to let go of working alone, and way beyond its scope of prac-tice? Why not allow it to finally re-ceive the support that has always been there for it? If you remind it to let go and receive often enough, you’ll give yourself a gift as well. Peace of mind, it’s called.

Then, gift yourself even more! Give yourself permission to re-ceive, as well! Let go of what is past. Let go of what no longer serves you. Let go of those who are not in your life NOW, for you have never lost them – and you never will. They will always be a part of you, and you of them. There is no reason to hold on, is there?

Instead, be grateful for them, let go of holding on, and say, “Thank you!” Then, open to receive every NEW manifestation and expres-sion of Love that the constancy of change has to offer. And open wide. Take a deep breath, and say “YES, thank you!! I know I de-serve, or I wouldn’t be breathing. So yes, I’ll have more, please!” And just keep breathing it all in. Again, and again, and again, and again… Love longs only for your willingness to receive!

Self Worth & the Third ChakraThe third chakra metabolizes the ener-gies of self worth and self esteem. Just as we begin to experience duality in the sec-ond chakra, the third chakra allows us to begin to see and operate from a place of understanding the collective and the in-dividual, and be able to choose which to serve at any given moment. The third chakra is activated when we begin to come into our own, usually in adoles-cence through early adulthood. It is through the learning of who we are and who we are not that the third chakra be-gins to glean a sense of our true self.

Everything is Energy… Chakra is the Sanskrit word meaning “wheel” or “turning”. Chakras are energy vortices that can be found supporting the human physical vessel. It has been my per-sonal understanding from working with these vortices, and the teachings from spirit, that these energy centers support physical life from the non-physical or spir-itual realms into the physical. These vorti-ces when off balance, or not metabolizing fully, can create distortions in our reality. When a Chakra has been “out of balance” for some time it can and does lead to phys-ical disease. All disease begins as an ener-getic imbalance which stem from some-thing within your internal landscape needing attention. be expressed in our health and well-being.

As any experienced holistic health prac-titioner can tell you, all living beings, regardless of age, breed, temperament or species, are susceptible to these ener-gies, since by the laws of physics, we too are made up of energy. Indeed, we all participate in this energetic dance, including our animal companions.

So what does all of this have to do with our pet’s awareness about us?Well we humans speak a language of English, French or Spanish etc., yet we speak by other languages too, many of which are also universally understood.

For example, mathematicians speak a Universal Language of math, musicians speak a Universal Language of music, numerologists speak a Universal Lan-guage of numbers, Astrologers speak a Universal Language of planetary rela-tionships etc.

Animals speak a Universal Language of energy. As a seasoned animal communicator who has communicated with thou-sands of animals in an authentic, 2-Way, telepathic dialogue, I can confirm that animals do indeed have awareness and consciousness about the fact that they willingly, and often deliberately, absorb energy from their human(s) as well as from their physical and geo-graphic environment.

They do this both on an individual ba-sis and on a planetary basis for all of Mother Earth and her inhabitants. All animals do it, both domestic and wild.

It’s part of how they communicate and it’s also one of the ways in which Animal Communicators connect with an-imals telepathically in a 2-Way dialogue.

By the way, we humans also speak this Universal Language of energy, howev-er, until recently, most humans have been doing it unconsciously and have

relegated this kind of information to a ‘sixth sense’ or some kind of gut in-stinct that some people seem to have and others don’t.

The truth is, everyone has it, everyone can do it, and our animals are teaching us how. Because we haven’t actively en-gaged in this language, our ability to speak it fluently has diminished.

That said, it’s nothing we couldn’t im-mediately pick up again, just like the re-freshing of a forgotten language. This kind of undertaking could easily be compared to going back into a gym and taking up a new workout regime. We just have to begin using it again.

The animals never forgot to use this part of their awareness the way we have because they’re not busy doing things like paying bills, working at their job and getting along with their mother-in-laws (you get the picture, right?). Their mental and energetic capacities are freed up for other activities.

We also know that this Universal Lan-guage of energy is directly connected to certain parts of our bodies known as sensory glands which, just as is true for the muscles in our bodies, can be easily built up to be stronger and more effec-tive with practice and persistence.

These glands are our pituitary, pineal, and thymus glands, which are sensory glands designed to perceive and sense energy. That’s why we have always re-ferred to this kind of energy language as extra-sensory perception. It is real and we all have it; and so do the non-human animals on planet Earth.

Another sensory organ, our skin al-so contributes to this extra-sensory perception and telepathic communica-tion. We can also consciously access the Theta Brainwave, which when ac-cessed, connects us to a Universal field of all energy. This field is often referred to as Universal Intelligence. Dr. Lynn McTaggart refers to it as ‘The Field’. It’s one of the ways authentic psychics get information too.

So now the question comes to: are we using it?

The animals certainly are already using it, consciously.Since our animals are sharing the space we live in, they are also sharing our en-ergy. As they share our energy, they are literally absorbing the energy in that shared space.

Because animals are able to detect, un-derstand and even translate this lan-guage of energy, they intuitively know which frequency the humans they live with are vibrating at.

They also energetically take on or as-similate these energies, as a gift of love, in an effort to heal us from the slower vibrating frequencies and to mirror back to us ourselves, so that we can make more conscious and appropriate choices.

From this perspective, we can under-stand that our animals have lots of in-formation about us, particularly as it relates to our overall health and well-being, not to mention the myriad other related information about us, much of which we won’t even share with our most trusted confidant.

Humans are left-brained, analytical creatures. We use our left brain to ana-lyze, list, calculate, determine, evaluate, deliberate etc. Non-human animals are right-brained creatures. The right brain is used for feeling and sensing, without having to label those things and/or ex-periences in order to identify them (which is the left brain’s job).

So essentially, as I always say: the right brain already knows what the left brain is trying to figure out.

This realization may seem contrary to everything we were told while we were growing up studying Isaac Newton’s laws which laid the foundation for our beliefs around this in classical mechan-ics. However, the process of telepathy in animals has been extensively studied and there have been countless docu-mented cases regarding animal telepa-thy, that the factual evidence is undeni-able and overwhelming.

Studies led by Dr. Joseph Banks Rhine, head of the Parapsychology Laboratory at the prestigious Duke University and Dr. John C. Lilly, Scientific Researcher, Physician, Neuroscientist, Psychoana-lyst and Philosopher, have yielded ex-tensive evidence with a large variety of animal species which have powerful findings: Animals do practice thought transference. It is time to give up control, which you actually never had. You think control produces safety, rather it is more condi-tioning and beliefs you acquired as a child. Whereas your own thinking has begun to recognize that you have been conditioned to want control. That condi-tioning has left you feeling out of place, and mostly without a suitable substitute for a sense of security. Okay, it is time for you to step into you own Mastery which is where real control resides. Stop com-paring your insides to others outsides, it is only a losing proposition. You have been seeking control for so long, out of habit, that you mostly project yourself onto others whether you know it or not, or you allow others to project themselves onto you. The Master within is ready to open your understanding up, way up. The romantic dream you have kept hid-den away, deep and almost forgotten is actually the Master within. Commit to yourself starting now, to be open to that guidance and understanding. The aware-ness will come, sometimes quickly and sometime after a while. The key here is that the Master’s voice within is right be-hind the conditioning, it has been there all along.

The future may be, will be an unfolding of consciousness during which you will be moving through some sorrow. Sor-

row is hanging onto something that is gone, that something that is held onto is also conditioning. Look behind all con-ditioning and you discover the Master that is you. Yes it is some work, okay, a lot of work. In addition as you let go of the conditioning and the beliefs about your-self, family, society etc. you may from time to time feel isolated and alone. Again, conditioning, and again look be-hind that sense of isolation and you will discover the Master. The s is only an ad-vertisement for change, so even while you are seeking to remove the condition-ing, know in your mind a change is afoot, hang onto that. Compromise will offer you a new way of looking at a situation and the parties involved. Take the oppor-tunity in compromise to take off more conditioning. Besides the conditioning of isolation and what isolation means, there is great abundance, a treasure. You would not believe it if you were told. The key here is to concentrate on being recep-tive, letting go of conditioning, one step at a time. The tendency will be to close down to the unknown and the unfamil-iar. This is where the Master within can walk with you into the unknown and the unfamiliar with hopeful expectation of the abundance that is there for you.

VirGo – 8/23 – 9/22The politics involved seemingly cause concern and yet politics are involved in almost all aspects of life. Whether the politics involve payola or friends/family doing something for you, it is all politics. The thing to be aware of is that, while unconditional love is an ideal, it is rarely present even in the closest of families, siblings, friends, loves and partners. So, throwing the baby out with the bath wa-ter can be a knee-jerk reaction to truth discovered. Take a breath and know that most people are doing the best they can and most people suppress what they don’t understand. For you turning inward can be, will be, of particular benefit right now. The thunderbolt of force, righ-teousness and certainty about what is un-derstood, can be understood in the light of compassion. It is time to get soft and allow consciousness to come forth from the unconscious and undiscovered. As she comes forth, the source of All that Is, Was and Will Be smiles and nurtures the mind and heart. The heart smiles and the mind rebels. The mind only knows what it experiences and can imagine. That un-

derstanding is ill equipped to take deliv-ery of the expansion of consciousness in you. This expansion is experienced be-fore understood. What can help is to start celebrating and dancing in joy and gratitude now for what is coming and what has already arrived.

A breakthrough is eminent, please be ready to stand up in your power. The power that is awakening in All, is a softer side, the Divine Feminine expressing herself in both male and female forms. Many will try to postpone recognizing what is already happening. When you dis-cover you are postponing, simply stand up and begin to play, laugh and dance in the light of what is. For others, you know which you are, a slowing down is more ap-propriate, and allowing what is ready to be expressed begin to show itself anew, dif-ferently and gently exciting. Enjoy.

CapriCorn - 12/22 – 1/19You are prepared to fight, to defend your-self, to protect what is yours, while in truth, you are breathing life into what has already gone. Part of what keeps you hold-ing on to your armor is the fear of loosing what you have. A little more of a generous attitude with what you have can help that balance itself. In addition there is a hidden asset called patience that when applied to a new project, can and will support you more than you know. Part of the ready to fight is found in the impatience that has been running through you for some time. As the patience that you have in untapped abundance comes to the surface, you will find new gold.

The stress you appear to have is just a juggling act, a distraction; it barely ex-presses one tenth of your capability. You are holding all the strings of your stress. You decide to be or not to be stressed and when and what to be stressed about. How about stressing not?

Your potential is way beyond illusion and is waiting there for you to be ready to step into. When you do step in, you will unleash more support than you can imagine, effortlessly and easily. You will have to let go of the habit of fighting and being ready to fight. You will have to be willing to go without your armor and the beliefs that hold all that in place. As you allow you will. Your path will appear, and it may seem long and desolate at first. Then the awareness and momentum of moving through the “dark night” will be unveiled.

aquarius - 1/20 – 2/18The dream is coming into your life. Are you ready for your dream? Or, have you forgotten your dream? You do know when the thunder within is ready to roll out. That bolt is longing to be allowed to ignite your dream. There is a completion that is very close and needs just the slight-est agreement from you? Are you ready for your dream to be that yes?

Now what is in the way, yet pointing true? What is known as a burden has an aspect of knowing. While you have a ten-dency to postpone, another way of un-derstanding this is that you will wait until you are absolutely sure and clear. In the past you have a reference to being patient and waiting to take action. When you take action, your success is eminent and yet your sensitivity to the sorrows around tend to be roadblocks until you integrate which some can call postponement and other call a burden. From the past you do also tend to carry the habit of suppres-sion of all that is up and needs to be open to assessment, understanding and accep-tance to integrate.

The future, from the past, may have pat-terns to fight, rather than to accept. Be aware that as life unfolds naturally, ripe blessings will just fall into your lap. As the healing of the pattern of fighting occurs, the healed self allows the production and recognition of a flowing ability to accept goodness and grace easily. It is natural.

By some, feeling a breakthrough is antici-pated as lightening, fireworks and/or blissful peace, love and happiness. Others know breakthroughs as a new normal with acceptance and gratitude. As the ego sur-renders, more and more subdued its hold onto each breakthrough as a product of its greatness. This is a kind of re-birth, a lifting up of sweetness, a new song of light. At this stage an integration is taking place between the old and the knew, fitting into an experi-ence of completion that is without words. Throughout this month, you are supported by the shedding of conditioning that has been wrapped on tight in family, class, so-ciety, religion and love. What was is gone, and what was known is now empty yet full. The rebel within will hold the torch as you walk into the future, lighting the way, a new way, yet a way of experimental tranquility. Pieces and ways of being will come togeth-er in ways formerly thought not to be pos-sible, yet happening. The angst, the dis-comfort is of old ways and old conditioning that now yield new strength, love and un-derstanding to your experiment in life. You are so much more capa-ble, while the stress you contend with can persuade you that you are busy and accomplishing what you need to be. What you have come for has yet to really express itself. Now is the time to sit atop the pinnacle of your existence, un-abridged and open for the whole world to see and benefit from. You must stop comparing your insides to others out-sides. You are enough and the world is ready to meet you. Stop holding back. You have been spending so much of your time and energy suppressing the creative and intuitive talents that are you.
