Synopsis: Believing is not easy. Jesus reminds us in this passage that He is from God, His teaching is from God, and that He is going to God. In this passage we find three types of responses to Him. One is from the authorities who oppose Him and want to kill Him. Some of the people see Him as a false teacher and others see him as good. Important lessons about the basis for our belief are found in this text.
