WHO WE ARE

DUCO is a boutique agency, production house and future platform dedicated to urban art and outdoor hand-painted wallscapes powered by a commercial approach while maintaining the mission of contribut-ing towards an urban aesthetical development. Since 2011 the idea has been initiated and developed throughout DUCO establishment in 2017 targeting any outdoor surfaces with a potential for visual transformation whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes all being hand-painted as one of our core values reflecting the social enterprise culture by creating new markets and providing opportunities for the local creative workforce besides encouraging craftsmanship.

We work towards community enrichment and place making through improving street visuals as a means of inspiration as well as creating value by exposure, interaction, understanding and appreciation of high artistic quality with an objective to enhance the design-build qual-ity standards, connect art with people and stimulate the alternative tourism scenes alongside the urban subcultures.

CO - FOUNDERS

Ehab GhaliDesign & Technical AdvisorCrossOver Technologies LLC

Ehab Ghali is the CEO and founder of (COT) CrossOver Technologies, LLC, a design-to-manufacturing service bureau and which is a sister company to DUCO. Ehab is a design and technical adviser for DUCO, he advise and provide training and coaching in all aspect of multidisciplinary design, design technicality and fabrication.Before founding COT, Ehab worked in prestigious Architecture firms in Los Ange-les, California, helping with designing, developing, constructing and fabricating some globally exhibited projects and instal-lations. His work has been published and received much recognition. Ehab is an Associate Member of the Ameri-can Institute of Architects (AIA) and a Member of the Egyptian Engineers Syndi-cate. He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Engineering from Mansoura University, College of Architectural Engi-neering in Mansoura and a Master’s degree of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles.

Hassan IsmailFounder &

Managing Partner

Hassan Ismail is the founder and man-aging partner at DUCO LLC, a social enterprise dedicated to the promotion and facilitation of public art. Hassan has been inspired by his travels and the idea sparked back in 2011 when he started thinking about symbolic graphical elements for store frontages as alternative and cool facade treat-ments representing the nature of services being offered thus providing indirect advertising while preserving the local loud and decorative charac-ter.The idea has been developed since then targeting surfaces with the poten-tial of visual transformation whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes. Hassan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Cairo University and Master of Design Research Studies in City Design, Planning and Policy from SCI-Arc in Los Angeles.

Amin Khairy is the strategic and finan-cial advisor for DUCO. He is involved in all aspects related to strategic and financial planning including market outlook, financial modeling, business plan execution and investor relations. Mr. Khairy has over 9 years of com-mercial banking experience in risk management, corporate credit and business analytics. In conjunction to advising DUCO Mr. Khairy works at Commercial Interna-tional Bank - Egypt as part of the Busi-ness Analytics team in the Analytics & Data Management Group where he advises senior management on the banking industry outlook, business line performance and the financial impact of strategic initiatives. Mr. Khairy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the American Univer-sity in Cairo and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IE Busi-ness School in Madrid.

Amin KhairyFinancial Advisor

Ibrahim El Demirdash is a managing partner at Consulting Engineering Bureau & Laboratories (CEL), a renowned civil engineering consul-tancy firm in Egypt. He also offers contracting finishing services to a multitude of clients. El Demirdash previously gained work experience in the United States as a structural engi-neer at Titan Atlas Global (TAG) which specializes in innovative construction technologies. El Demirdash holds a Doctorate degree in Structural Engi-neering from the University of Califor-nia Irvine (UCI). He also holds a Master’s degree in Construction Man-agement from Loughborough Univer-sity and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering from Cairo University.
