In this session you will learn what is cloud computing along with the benefits, challenges and risks of cloud computer. You will also learn about connectivity, security, backups, implementation issues and the various types of cloud services.

In this session you will learn to define Workforce Quality Score, understand the Nine-Block tool, explain the role that pre-employment testing plays in the program and understand the impact of other data or metrics on the program.

Healthsouth became a huge success on Wallstreet while fraud was being committed to ensure its success. Mr. Smith will share his story of becoming a whistle blower, acknowledging and accepting punishment for his role in the fraud. In this session, you will learn:

• Corporate culture and the role everyone must play

• The mechanics of the Healthsouth fraud and its red flags

• Red flags of business for employees, invetors, or auditors

• Keys to protecting your business from unscrupulous activities

• Promotion of ethics and integrity in everything we do

3:10-4:00pm: RISK ASSESSMENT/SECURITY AUDIT (1 CPE)

Presented by: Bob Daugherty CNE, CAN, A+, Net+, Sec+, Project+, MCP, Deming, Malone, Livesay and Ostroff Learning Objectives: With today’s complex technical environments security is getting more and more difficult to control. IT security is a specialty and most firms do not have a certified security expert on staff. Compliant regulations such as GLBA and HIPPA as well as identify theft put a lot of pressure on firms to take a hard look at their security. In this session you will learn the following: What is a Risk Assessment/Security Audit; Various Parts or types and what they analyze; Why you need one – compliant issues as well as data security; What’s involved in the process; What reports will tell you and what to do with the information; How to explain this to managers, directors, etc.; Tips on selecting a third party vendor and why your internal staff should not be doing this.

4:10-5:00pm: COST SEGREGATION (1 CPE)Presented by: Kevin JerryLearning Objectives: Cost segregation is the practice of identifying assets and their costs and classifying those assets for federal tax purposes. In this session, you will learn how certain assets previously classified a subject to a 39-year depreciation life, can instead be classified as personal property or land improvements with a 5, 7 or 15 year rate of depreciation using accelerated methods using a cost segregation study. You will learn how the benefits of an engineering based study can provide an immediate increase in cash flow, reductions in current tax liability and the deferral of taxes.
