    Management helps in doing and getting thingsdone through others. it is the process that optimizes

    human , material and financial resources of the

    organization for effective achievement of its goals.

    Human skill is equally important at all levels oforganizations because managers at all levelsdeal with the work-force and must possess

    human skills to make workers contribute towardsorganizational goals.

    There are 3 types of managers skills

    Conceptual skill Human skill

    Technical skill

    Conceptual skill:

    These skill are referred to the mental

    ability of a manager.It is the managers ability to analyze the

    organization as a whole.

    He must be knowledgeable andimaginative to use of skills.

    Adding new product line, deleting theexisting product.

    This is done by the top levels ofmanagement.

    As we know management is the getting

    things done by others and human skill isthe ability of manager to work with andunderstand people in the organization.

    It increases confidence of others to workas a team and to co-operate with eachothers.

    It is done by the middle levels ofmanagement.

    CONCLUSION

    As we move down the hierarchy, moretechnical skills and place conceptual skills andrequired by manager as managers at lower level

    deal with job techniques more than framingplans and policies.

    At higher levels, the need for analyzing theorganization as a whole and co-ordinating the

    organizational activity is more (conceptual skill)than technical skills to perform a job.
