These skill are referred to the mental
ability of a manager.It is the managers ability to analyze the
organization as a whole.
He must be knowledgeable andimaginative to use of skills.
Adding new product line, deleting theexisting product.
This is done by the top levels ofmanagement.

As we move down the hierarchy, moretechnical skills and place conceptual skills andrequired by manager as managers at lower level
deal with job techniques more than framingplans and policies.
At higher levels, the need for analyzing theorganization as a whole and co-ordinating the
organizational activity is more (conceptual skill)than technical skills to perform a job.
