• YES!!! You must have one to check anything out!

• We’ll throw a barcode on the back and make it a Library Card.

• We also accept IHCC Library cards

HOW LONG DO I GET TO KEEP STUFF I CHECK OUT? AND HOW MANY?

• BOOKS -28 DAYS- 50 BOOKS

• DVD-7 DAYS-10 DISCS

• CDS-7 DAYS-10 DISCS

• MAGAZINES-7 DAYS-10 ISSUES

Does the library have a website?

• Sure, we’re only one floor

Yikes, the book I wanted isn’t on the shelf…what do I do now?

• Ask a Librarian• We can see if another

library has it • We can order one for

you from the other library

• We’ll track it down!!

What are Course Reserves? Is that a theme park?

• Books/DVDs/Articles your instructor puts on Reserve

• Arranged by Course• Most can only be used

in the library• We have some older

editions of textbooks that can be checked out

Why do I have to check out Course Reserves if I’m using them in the Library??

My Mum emailed me a picture of Miguel my pet iguana. Where can I print it off?

• Black & white pictures can be printed from most computers in the Library building

• College Center computer area has color printer. Only one on campus.

My alarm didn’t go off and I missed class. Where can I copy my friend’s notes?

• The Library has 2 photocopy machines.

• Copies are FREE!!• Copiers can also scan

to USB or SD cards and email files.

My instructor says I need to go to the library’s website and get articles for my paper.

• 8 group study rooms that can be booked online or at the Circ Desk.

• White walls or boards you can write on – ask for markers and eraser.

• No food in rooms – covered drinks ok.

Can I eat my Subway® in the Library?

• NO. Please, please, no food in the new library. Covered drinks are ok.

• We do not have time clean up after you

• No pizza deliveries
