ROLE OF TEACHER IN A SCHOOL

• A teacher or school teacher is a person who provides education for her pupils

• The role of teacher is often formal and ongoing, carried out at a school or other place of formal education

• A teacher can be a friend off the class hours

• She can help the students by counselling them, helping them with their problems and advise them to be a good human being

It needs no description that the teacher is the pivot of any educational system of the younger students. On him / her rests the failure or the success of the system. 

If the teachers are well educated and if they are intellectually alive and take keen interest in their job, then only, success is ensured. Hence, the teacher is a vital component of a school.

 A teacher nurses wounds, feels foreheads for fevers, recognizes when a student really should call home, etc. Sometimes she judges disputes or hands down punishments. 

And sometimes, she must make them understand that although it is with the greatest of love for them and for what they do, she must simply tell them what to do.

WHAT DOES A TEACHER DO ?

"Well, I make kids work harder than they ever thought they could .

I make kids sit through 40 mins of class time when their parents can't make them sit for 5 min. without an iPod,

Game Cube or a movie .

I make kids wonder.I make them question.

I make them apologize and mean it.I make them have respect and take responsibility for their

actions…

WHAT DOES A TEACHER DO ?

I teach them how to write and then I make them write .I make them read, read, read.

I make them show all their work in math.  I make my classroom a place where all my students feel

safe.

Finally, I make them understand that if they use the gifts they were given, work hard, and follow their

hearts, they can succeed in life…
