Capital Cooling is a commercial refrigeration specialist operating throughout the whole of the UK.
Founded in 1996 by Alister McLean – who to this day continues to drive the company forward in
his role as Managing Director, Capital Cooling is committed to supplying high quality products
with unrivalled levels of customer service.
Over the past 13 years the company has expanded from only a handful of staff through to more
than 150 of the best people in the industry – from product design and development through to
service engineers and installation experts.
Our main focus is the sale of high quality refrigeration equipment and the provision of reliable
and efficient service and maintenance of refrigeration equipment to companies within the retail,
hospitality and leisure industries.
We sell a variety of commercial refrigeration products including multi deck display cabinets,
serve over counters, single and double door freezers, food prep-counters, cellar cooling, air
conditioning, bottle coolers and ice machines.
We stock our own bespoke range of refrigeration cabinets that have been designed and
manufactured exclusively for Capital Cooling and can be tailored to suit a multitude of retailing
requirements.

Our products can be found in many large retail chains around the country including Convenience

Many of our commercial refrigeration solutions can be found in a number of the well known
hospitality and retailing venues throughout the UK including Campbells Prime Meats, The

SERVICE NETWORK
CAPITAL COOLING®
With more than 90 engineers based around the UK Capital Cooling has the ability to maintain,
service and support any refrigeration or air conditioning system.
Our fully trained and qualified engineers are able to resolve the majority of problems on a first
visit basis thanks to the fact that their vans are replenished daily with the key items required to
keep our clients refrigeration systems working.
Capital Cooling engineers are controlled through our computerised Quality Management
system, QSMS, which maximises their efficiency. From automatically processing jobs to the
electronic ordering of replenishment parts and the monitoring of time on site, QSMS ensures
that our clients are not only attended to in an timely manner but also with minimum cost and
inconvenience.

With a network of 150 members of staff spread throughout the UK
Capital Cooling is a truly National refrigeration company.
Our Distribution Network
There are 70 members of staff based in our head office and
distribution centre in Broxburn, near Edinburgh, with a further 80
members of staff based in our off site locations around the UK. We
are very proud of our national coverage and our ability to respond
to clients needs no matter where they are in the country.
Controlled centrally from our Broxburn HQ , Capital Cooling has a distribution network covering
the whole of the UK, with distribution centre’s in Oxford, Bedford and London.
Using our own fleet of customised vehicles, all staffed by highly trained individuals, we are
able to safely and securely deliver more Integral Multidecks throughout the UK than any other
refrigeration company.
Our fully automated delivery system ensures that products can be tracked at any point in the
journey from packing to unloading at their final destination
