Coordinator Corner

I would like to welcome everyone to the junior section of our club.

Since last season we have had a large number of new players come to our club, this has re-sulted in additional teams the club will be fielding this season. With the increased number of teams we have also increased our administration structure, with David Inglis assisting in the junior administration along with his role as under 12 coach and editor of this newsletter. We have also appointed Drago Kljajic as our coaching director, he will oversee all our coaches as well as coach the under 17 team. Another addition is Ser-gio Pacillo who will be our team managers coordinator.

A full list of club officials and contacts is enclosed in this newsletter. I trust everyone likes our new Warrior logo along with our new website, feel free to forward any ideas, photos or information from your teams to our webmaster.

A friendly reminder to the par-ents if you have not made ar-rangements for payment of the 2011 fees to contact my-self asap, as this will delay the delivery of your child’s team wear along with registration to play, feel free to contact me to discuss this. Finally I would like to wish everyone a suc-cessful and enjoyable season.

Junior Coaching Di-rector looks to the future

Drago has come back to White City after being in-volved with a number of oth-er clubs for the past number of years, In the last three years with Campbelltown his squad won the champion-ship and league three times. As coaching director he in-tends to bring a structured and methodical approach to the development of players throughout White City juniors through to under 23 squad. Drago does not expect instant success but over time the chil-dren will improve their work ethic and discipline (tech-nically, tactfully) and de-velop game intelligance

5 a Side Tournament

The recent tournament has been a great success with many White City supporters com-ing along to attend, two of the teams competing have ju-niors from 15 and 17 sides. Message from the President

Welcome to season 2011 at White City Warriors. To all our players from last season, welcome back and to our new players to the club a big welcome

and I look forward to seeing you play at some time during the sea-son. Our junior section has been bolstered by some quality coach-es coming across to our club to work with our junior teams and we hope you will learn, enjoy and gain from their experience The club has committed funds to installing new training lights on the side and back pitches, this work should be completed by the end of day light savings, enabling all teams to be able to train on these pitches in the winter months. I take this opportunity to wish you and your teams all the best in the coming season and invite you all to attend and support the senior team at home matches with their first home game on Saturday 26th March commencing at 7pm.

As the training gets into full swing and team managers are selected we will provide you with the contact information.
