FOOD SCRAPS GO IN THE GREEN BIN

Kitchen caddy starter kits are available for residents at all Council Service Centres. Please use a kitchen caddy for fruit, vegetables, tea bags and coffee grounds, dairy products, egg and oyster shells, bones, meat and seafood as well as paper towels and tissues. Once collected, place them in your green bin. If you don’t have a green bin, many of these items can be composted at home.

Public holiday - No collections on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Good Friday. All collections will move to the next day for the remaining week.

Bins should be placed 1 metre apart at kerbside by 6am on your collection day. Remove bins from verge within 24hrs of collection.

Collections may be delayed on catastrophic and extreme fire danger rated days. Please leave your bins out until collected.
