Indian Head Rail Trail (White Plains to Indian Head)www.charlescountyparks.com A 13-mile stretch of a former railroad corridor is being converted to a recreational trail for hikers, bikers, and nature enthusiasts. The trail passes through the Mattawoman Creek stream valley. Completion expected late 2009.
