In January Veronica moved to Rome and started

a master course  concerning tourism, events

and communication.

“What I observed and learned during the

training experience in AOIFE's Office is proving

to be  useful for my studies. I'm really thinking

“It was an unforgettable and rewarding

experience. I gained much more confidence, I

improved my organisational skills and, of

course, my English.”

Michaela started working in the Foreign Sales

“I really thing my working experience abroad

stood me in good stead to find a job quickly.”

“What I appreciated most is that

interns are treated like real

employees: they are given

responsibilities and the possibility of

using their own initiative.”

“My fellow colleagues and interns were absolutely unique and a pleasure to work with. The daily cycling experience totally erased my Italian fear-of-the-rain and the Rose of Tralee Escort Selection added a ‘peculiar’ flavour to the whole experience.”

“However, I believe that the greatest inheritance I got back from those Irish months is strongly related to what I'm doing now.”

While in Ireland, Virginia worked on her thesis about public and private funds for the arts in Ireland and came cross FUNDIT.IE, the Irish crowd-funding platform. Amazed by its success, when she returned to Italy she started her own association based on the Irish crowd-funding model. “And guess what's its name? GINGER

(acronym of Gestione Idee Nuove e Geniali in Emilia Romagna); there's definitely something Irish in it.”

translated to Quality Institute of Dutch Municipalities. The

organisation gives advice to municipalities on how to solve

certain problems on different topics like decentralization of
