When will you need NT650?
When the car needs maintenance.
Before you start your road trip.
When you want to buy a used car.
When you reinstall ABS and TCS motors.
when the vehicle is due for a service.
After changing of pads, discs and calipers.
When you need to do further service or maintenance work on brake systems.
After a solenoid valve or valve body assembly has been replaced.

Detailed functions of FOXWELL NT650
ABS & SAS control modules
1. Automated Test - Automatically commands each solenoid valve and the pump motor on and
off to test for proper operation.
2. Brake Bleed Preparation Test - Prepares the brake lines for bleeding by clearing air from the
modulator. The test rehomes all the ABS and TCS motors, cycles the TCS motors, and then returns
all motors to the “home” position at the bottom of the bore.
3. Function Test - Automatically commands the ABS relay, valve solenoids, and pump motor on
and off to test for proper operation.
4. Gear Tension Relief Test - Relieves tension from the ABS motor gears so you can separate the
ABS motor pack from the ABS hydraulic modulator.
5. Hydraulic Control Test - Allows to manually engage and disengage the ABS solenoids for
troubleshooting the hydraulic functions.
6. Idle Up Manual Control Test - Allows to manually control the idle up actuators.
7. Lamp Tests - Allows to manually control the ABS or TCS warning or indicator lamps.
8. Motor Rehome Test - Prepares the brake lines for bleeding by clearing air from the modulator.
The test returns all ABS motors to their “home” positions.
9. Pump Motor Test - Allows to manually control the pump motor.
10. Relay Test - Allows to manually engage and disengage either the ABS or TCS relays in order to
test relay operation.
11. Requested Torque Test - Allows to manually control the engine torque to test for proper
operation of the traction control system (TCS).
12. Setup SDM Serial Number (Air Bag Sensing and Diagnostic Module) - Allows to program a
new air bag serial number into the dash integration module (DIM). You use this test after installing
a new air bag; otherwise a diagnostic trouble code will be set when you turn on the ignition.
13. Solenoid Tests - Allows to manually control the inlet and output valve solenoids.
14. System Identification - Displays information about the brake system, the vehicle, and the ABS
controller.
15. TCS Test - Allows to control the pump motor in order to apply fluid pressure to the front wheel
circuits.
16. Traction Control System (TCS) Manual Control Test - Allows to perform motor tests and an
adjuster assembly control test.
17. Voltage Load Test - “Loads” the ABS battery supply circuit to test for adequate battery
capacity.
Electronic Parking Brake
1. Deactivate/Activate SBC/EPB systems - Allows to deactivate brakes for further service or
maintenance work on brake systems or activate brakes when service or maintenance work on
brake systems are completed.
2. Adaptation on Audi A8 - Allows to set new pad thickness of rear brakes calipers after changing
brake discs & pads on Audi A8 models.
3. Active test on Mercedes SBC vehicles - Allows to change hydraulic brake systems fluid/bleed
brake system.
4. Active test on BMW EPB vehicles - Allows to do the CBS reset and CBS correction for front
brake and rear brake.
5. Active test on Volvo PBM vehicles - Allows to perform installation check, applying parking
brake, releasing parking brake, activating service mode and exiting service mode.
6. Reset memory on Toyota EPB vehicles - Allows to clear the learned memory of the EPB ECU.
7. Perform brake cable replacement and electric parking brake replacement - Allows to fit in or
remove the brake cable safely, adjust brake cable’s tension and calibrate the electric parking brake
replacement.
8. Save and write clutch pedal programming on Renault EPB vehicles - Allows to save clutch
pedal programming on Renault vehicles fitted with manual gearbox. After this command is
activated, the tool allows to "flash" the electric parking brake unit with the saved clutch data.
9. Perform control function and reset function on Opel EPB vehicles - Allows to apply/release
park brake cable service, provide park brake cable service replacement procedures and calibrate
the parking brake systems after brake service.
10. Sensor calibration on Honda EPB vehicles - Allows to program the current output value of
each sensor into the electric parking brake unit.
11. Provides parking brake unjam procedure and perform longitudinal accelerometer
calibration on Land Rover EPB vehicles - allows to drive the electronic park brake so it is unjamed
in the releasing direction and then drive it into mounting position or the latching position; also
allows to perform longitudinal accelerometer calibration.
NOTE:
1. EPB systems must be deactivated before carrying out any maintenance/service work on the
brakes such as changing of pads, discs and calipers.
2. Use proper tools to avoid the risk of body injuries of mechanics and technicians and damage to
the brake system.
3. Make sure the vehicle is properly blocked after deactivation of the systems.
Oil Light Reset
Aallows you to reset the service lamps on the instrument cluster.
Battery Replacement (BRT)
Allows you to verify new batteries, clear faults from the dashboard and display current battery
details of the vehicle.
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration
Allows you perform the DPF cleaning to clear the blockage through continuous burning of the
particulates captured in the DPF filter.
Throttle Body Alignment (TBA/TPS)
Allows you perform Throttle Body Alignment (TBA) on Volkswagen and Audi vehicles.
Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) Calibration
Allows you perform calibration of the Steering Angle Sensor, which permanently stores the current
steering wheel position as straight-ahead in the sensor EEPROM.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Programming
Allows you to check the tire sensor IDs from the vehicle ECU and to perform TPMS programming
and reset after tires and/or TPM sensors are replaced and/or tires are rotated.
Gear Learning
Crankshaft position sensor adaptive learning.Allows you to perform tooth learning for the car.
CVT
Allows you to reset the compensation code and initialize the ECT.
ODOMETER
Allows you to revise the date of odometer and write the original date into new odometer.
INJECTOR CODING
Allows you to reset and match the date after injector is replaced.
Please note: Not all function options listed above are applicable to all vehicles. Available
options may vary by the year, model, and make of the test vehicle.
