Hello, my name is Sandra. I Born on April 6, 1972. My mother's name is Maria Ines

and my father’s name is Pedro Antonio. I had a fun childhood, always in the

branches of the trees and the screams of my grandmother. I used to play only with

boys and it was really fun, i used to feel amazing, being accepted to play with

them.

Actually, it was more fun to play with them than with girls. I loved run from here to

there, everywhere… used to have secret missions with them. Sometimes pranks

involved, but it didn’t matter as long as play.

My grandmother punished me far more than my mom. I was so afraid, yet always i

ran to the "arms" of the trees so that they would cover me…

Games I used to play:

“Canicas”

This game is about getting at least 5 marbles per child and also see which marble

play hits to another.

These are my friends playing marbles.

“Trompos”

this game is to see which spin rotates faster at turning it. I remember it was really

funny to see the dog's face when we were playing that.

My friends like to play trompos; the place to play that was always the street in front

Manu’s house.

This dog was really funny.

“Escondelero”

This game is about hide and seeks, a person has to count to a certain number while

others seek a place to hide. When the person finished counting says "ready or not,

here I come"

This is me playing hide and seek behind my father's car.

We use to play at holidays.

“Mica pelota”

For this game you need at least 5 players to make it more fun, you just need a ball

and run. A child is the "mica" then it runs to pass it to another, but as this is mica

ball, throw the ball into the body of another person so that the ball touches it and

so on.

It was very fun to play “micapelota” at school.

“Chancha balancha”

For this game you need several people and begins with a song that says, "sow

balancha ivory leaves a lady told me that you got 100 sons ..." so you start playing

for all the people who are on one side to end in the other side.

“Ladron y Policia”

This game is that they have to be two groups of children, some thieves and other

cops. Mission is to catch all the thieves, but these have dens the cops can’t pass.

They always laughing.

I almost hit the wall by running fast.

“La Payana”

Practiced with five small stones or similar objects that are taking them to the

ground while one of them is thrown into the air and redissolved without falling to

the floor.

“La rayuela”

One of the most simple and common to play it is to paint on the floor space of

“Anton Pirulero”

Pirulero; the rest must choose a musical instrument imagination and pretend it to

touch.

At school we all play and it’s very fun.

“El Ratón y el Gato”

A child makes the mouse another cat. Others make a wheel with hands clasped and

arms raised, making sure to leave room for you to pass. The cat has to catch the

mouse.

I love to see children’s playing so excited.

“Simón dice”

The game is that all participating children have to do what Simon says. But Simon

can trick them to lose. If he says a prayer and this leads not "Simon" for there to

realize it until it says "Simon says".

“Pizpirigaña”

Game in which the participants put their fingers outstretched and palms down.

Another child gently pinched the other while singing a song.

Always used to win this game.

“Colores”

To play this game and make it more fun need 10 children. Two of them will be the

buyer and the seller, the seller has to assign a color as his name to the others

child’s. When the buyer arrives has to guess the color and if he guess the color the

child that is the color has to run out if he catch the color the child will be his

property but if he returns to his post still playing.

“In the arms of the tree”

This game was invented by me. So as I said in my bio, I love to climb trees and

sway in the branches. The game is about a whole day stay there until they could

find me or until I do not feel good. Although I did not move for me was the best

thing to be in the arms of trees.

This is me at my favorite place.

When was a child the life was so easy that I can be in the tree for hours just looking

the sky.
