NRL football is on in March!!That’s right, the footy is back and the mighty Panthers are ready to go.First game of the new NRL season is on Saturday March 8th at Sportingbet Stadium against the Newcastle Knights.Also, look out for an announcement regarding a big ‘Fan Day’ function to be held straight after full-time of this first home game of the season. You won’t want to miss out on this event!It’s a great start to the year for our members because the Panthers play 5 of their first 7 games of the season at our home ground here in Penrith.Remember this year too, we will have three games for your enter-tainment on game days. That’s right. Just like the “Old Days” we will have first grade, reserve grade and Under 20’s all playing on the day in Penrith colours. It will be a great afternoon of entertainment.For season 2014 the club has recruited a number of big names like Jamal Idris, Elijah Taylor, Jamie Soward, Peter Wallace and Brent Kite.This year I believe several of our up-and-coming kids from last year’s Premiership winning Under 20’s team will make their debuts in the top grade as well.It’s a great time to become a member of the Panthers.
