Miss Morris is the only new teacher who will be teaching in Room 4. Miss OSullivan is moving to Room 9 replacing Ms Waaka and Mrs Pettitt who will be working as Part Time teachers here next year. Mr Kearns is covering for Mrs Ioane who is taking Maternity Leave for Terms 1 and 2. All other teachers will be remaining in their current rooms. Final class placement information will come home with the Reports and Stationery Lists on Friday December 13. We have had a most active Young Vinnies group this year. They are asking that each child brings a Christmas Present that can be placed on The Saint Vincent de Paul Christmas Grotto in Stanmore Road. Please see a poster with regards this elsewhere in the Newsletter. Thank you to those parents who got their children to the Parish/School Mass on Sunday. It was great to have them there. The parish appreciated your support at the Mini Fair following Mass. School closes at 12:30 on Friday December 13. Please ensure that your child is collected by 12:45. From the DRS - Faith Facts & Spiritual Readings

How can we Live simply according to Laudato Si ’?

Before anyone in the family purchases something ask, “Do I need or want this?” If your children want something new, discuss if it’s important. 'Christian perfection consists in three things: praying heroically, working heroically, and suffering heroically.' St. Anthony Mary Claret

On Friday, Marama attended the Royal New Zealand Ballet production of Hansel and Gretel. As part of this she got to go backstage to see the props, costumes and the dancers warming up. After the show she went for ice cream and was lucky to get a photo with the good witch and the bad witch. What a wonderful day we had! Thank you to Ms Harwood for organising and the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
