So, after many years of fundraising, planning, preparations, discussions, designing, building, fitting and kitting out, Wells Maltings is now well and truly open.

Thousands of people have already visited this wonderful new £5m arts, heritage and community centre which opened its doors to the public back in July. This multi-faceted place began with a “soft season” whiledifferent aspects of the building were completed and now includes a state-of-the-art theatre/cinema, Heritage Centre, Visitor Information Centre, attractive café and bar, and a series of community spaces.

As you will see from these pages, there is always something goingon, from music, film, drama, dance, comedy, art, poetry, heritage, family activities and much more, so keep an eye on the What’s On section on our website – www.wellsmaltings.org.uk – and sign up to our email newsletters to find out about forthcoming events. Timez Design has done a fantastic job with the website, coming up with a modern new look which is user-friendly and informative. Take a look when you

have a moment and make sure you check back soon, as we’re updating it constantly with the latest news, events and activities.
