EL SALVADOR MISSION TEAM INFORMATION MEETING -Sunday, June 23, in the Library at 10 a.m.Is the Lord calling you to mission in El Salvador?Porterfield is sending a team to continue our work in this nation with significant challenges, yet an undeniable movement of God.Our team will be ministering in the community with VBS-like activities and continuing to build relationships and working toward our goal of building a high school in the town of Ahuachapan. LIBERTY 2019: Call for Photos Our “Liberty” program is set for June 30 at 5 p.m. in the Sanctuary. One feature is our military photo presentation. Set to a beautiful piece of music, we will showcase the family and friends of the Porterfield community who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces. Just scan a picture, include branch of service and rank, and send to Mike Keeley at mkeeley@pmumc.net. If you don’t have a scanned photo, bring the photo to the church and Mike will scan it for you. This will be a marvelous tribute to our record of service to America both past and present. IF YOU SUBMITTED A PHOTO LAST YEAR, NO NEED TO RESUBMIT.

Farewell To Cindy ThomasOur sweet Cindy Thomas has retired after 20 years of service to our church and families. She’s done just about every job here at the church, but her heart has always been with our children’s ministries. If you’d like to send her a note of thanks or appreciation, please put them in Caren’s mailbox or office. We’re sending her off with our best wishes, but sure hope she comes back to volunteer every now and again!

Summer Camp @ Epworth By The SeaIf you’re planning to register, please hurry! The deadline is June 24th! We’re attending the July 8th-12th session. We’ll take the kids and drop them off. I’ll be on the Epworth grounds in case of any emergencies. Please let Caren know if you’re registering or if you have any questions!

BEACH RETREATBeach Retreat 2019 is right around the corner! Join us for NEXT: Growing A Faith That Lasts, which will help us begin to lay the foundation of a faith that will last long into the student’s entire life. We’ll have an awesome weekend of fun, food, and fellowship in Christ. It’s August 9-11 in Panama City Beach, Fla. The cost is $150, and registration is due July 28.
