Health Improvement Survey Results
Design and Purpose• The purpose of the survey was to ask North Country
residents to rank the top three health issues affecting their community.
• We sent the survey online to over 1300 people who either live or work in the North Country.
• The survey was sent to: healthcare providers, business professionals, law enforcement officials, educators, legislators, town officials and other community leaders and members.
• All respondents who completed the survey were entered into a drawing to win a Family Season Pass to the New Hampshire State Parks System. The drawing will be conducted today at lunch!
Overall Response
• 411 total responses
• 386 Complete Responses from across the North Country and the State.
Grouping the Responses – Sub-regionsBased on the number of responses, we grouped the North Country into three separate sub-regions:
Western Coos (Pittsburg, Clarksville, Stewartstown, Dixville,Colebrook, Columbia, Millsfield, Stratford, Stark, Northumberland, Groveton, Lancaster, Whitefield, Jefferson, Dalton, Twin Mountain)
Berlin-Gorham Area (Wentworth’s Location, Errol, Dummer, Cambridge, Milan, Berlin, Randolph, Gorham, Shelburne)
Northern Grafton (Littleton, Bethlehem, Monroe, Lyman, Lisbon, Sugar Hill, Franconia, Lincoln, Bath, Landaff, Easton, Woodsville, Haverhill, Benton, Woodstock, Piermont, Warren)
