National Rehabilitation Awareness Week
National Rehabilitation Awareness Week was September 13-19 and the rehabilitation de-partment at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Erie celebrated all week long with fun cos-tumes, raffles and more! Monday was superhero day and staff dressed as their favorite superhero (although every-one agrees that the strongest and most resilient superheroes are the patients). They hon-ored Dr. Seuss on Tuesday and the simple lessons he teaches such as how to treat one an-other with kindness and respect. Each staff member dressed as Waldo for “Where’s Waldo Wednesday?” Thursday, on Toy Story Day, staff dressed as their favorite character from the movie series. To wrap up the week, Friday was Tie dye day. The rehabilitation staff at SHC—Erie is a dedicated group of caring professionals who help our patients reach new goals every day by providing the Most Amazing Care Anywhere.
