Mauritius – the jewel of the Indian Ocean

With the population of 1.3 million people and size only at 45 by 65 kilometres whole island

feels like a one big city. Mauritius is the safest country in Africa with multi racial and peaceful

people. Fascinating cultural diversity is reflected in the dining scene, with French, Creole,

African and Indian cuisines. Along with Cape Town, it is the best place in Africa for location

independent entrepreneurs.

The best time to visit Mauritius is June through September. Water is still warm, but it’s not

too hot and humid any more. It’s windy season with much less tourists and prices are the

lowest. When it comes to kitesurfing and windsurfing it doesn’t get any better than Le Morne

in Mauritius, and it’s perfect place for beginners. Apart from watersports and beautiful white

sand beaches, other popular activities are mountain trekking, diving, golf and skydiving.

Doing business in Mauritius – No More Tax

Besides community, business and kitesurfing events on Mauritius we’ll have special

workshops for location independent entrepreneurs and digital nomads who want to reduce

taxation over their global earnings.

Do you want to learn how to setup an efficient, low-cost, legally tax efficient entity or an

offshore company in Mauritius? Join our remote work program and find out.

Accommodation Mauritius – villas and apartments

All the villas, apartments and coworking office are in beautiful beachside community of

Tamarin-Black River, on the west coast of Mauritius. The neighborhood is inhabited by

growing expatriate community, mainly from Europe and South Africa.

Tamarin is sheltered from the rains and winds, but still only a 15-20 minutes drive from Le

Morne, home to the best kitesurfing, windsurfing and SUP spot on the island.

Our villas:

• All rooms are private with private

bathroom, no shared hostel rooms

• A short walk from the beach and

with our own private pool

• Fully equipped, wifi, water and

electricity costs included

• Cleaning once a week included

• For demanding travellers we have

apartments right on the beachfront

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is there every day structured agenda?

We have several weekly business, community events and workshops for personal and

professional growth, but nothing is a must. There won’t be a 24/7 program so you have

more freedom to work on your projects or meet up with other participants to do whatever

you like.

2. Who are the other participants?

We can divide our typical participants in two groups. The first group are location

independent entrepreneurs and remote workers who usually stay with us for 1-3 months

and work 30-40 hours weekly. The second group are investors and managers who stay 2-3

weeks, work only 1-2 hours daily and join events mainly to network and kitesurf with like-

minded people. What is important is that we share the same values and our passion for

watersports.

3. Can I have a whole apartment to myself or find my own accommodation?

Absolutely, our packages are super flexible. We recommend that to participants that come

accommodation and still join our workation.
