I believe there are many different perspectives on what makes a great leader. For me it is helping others to discover themselves and finding their own individuality along with overcoming difficulties that stand in their pathway, as when a person is able to identify these areas they become more valuable. We are all capable of filling statuses and jobs in life, but when we can create our own individuality and gifts we are more valuable that brings forth integrity. Meaning being impeccable with the words spoken, as when the words spoken match the actions this inspires others.

Spiritual growth is a key with anything and when we are willing to transform, passion comes forth that impacts creation. If an environment is negative, it is about transforming the negative environment into a positive environment. It is about coming from a place of love, peace, compassion, and serenity that restores the ability to see things for what they are along with the strength to get through what is presented. The problem is we get stuck in our viewpoints and theories and when we can help each other to see in new ways, we can help one another bring forth profound change. Ultimately this is about communication with one another. Communication is not only being positive, but clear and specific. Being a good listener is critical to being a great leader.

When we are able to see and understand we are serving somebody greater then ourselves and our individual goals, it is then we realize we are not directing and instructing. We are motivating and stimulating which leads us to our core values and being mindful.

A great leader must have vision and passion with the things they do in life, as this attracts followers. There will be times when things become tough, but it is through having confidence one can get through those times. A curious person that questions many things along the way is also important along with looking to learn new skills and apply what has been learned. Yet, being an optimist is significant and looking to solve problems and conquering new challenges, as a good leader will realize they always have choices. A great leader will also surround themselves with those who are positive and empower others and help others to achieve success.
