What is The Tour de France?

• Biggest annual sporting event in the world!

• Bike race that lasts three weeks.• Over 200 riders compete from

across the world.• It is made up of 21 stages, each

What you need to do to enter the competition

• I can only take 15 children on Monday 7th July.• If you would like to stand a chance of going all you

need to do is write me a letter explaining why I should take you.

• It might be that you love cycling. It may be that you’d like to experience something new. Whatever the reason make sure you write the best that you can.

• You can include pictures and diagrams if you would like. I don’t mind if you use a computer, or if you hand write it.

• It does not have to be long. But remember, you’ve got to persuade me to take you!!
