HWY 169/ HWY 282/ CR 9 INTERCHANGE PROJECT PRELIMINARY DESIGN AND ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTATION
What is the Status of the Hwy 169/ Hwy 282/ CR 9 Interchange Project?
The City of Jordan has been working with Scott County and MnDOT to study potential alternatives for the construction of an interchange at the Hwy 169/ Hwy 282/ CR 9 intersection. Improvements are needed to address safety and operational concerns in the area, and a long-term solution is needed.
In 2018, a conceptual design was developed for an interchange that was supported by all three agencies (see map below). More information on the concept design process can be found at http://tinyurl.com/hwy169-hwy282-cr9. The City is now moving forward with more detailed engineering design and environmental review.
Survey crews and soil boring equipment will be working in the project area over the next few months to collect field data in support of the preliminary design efforts.
