What is the Patient Portal? Our Patient Portal (or “the portal”) gives direct online access to portions of your electronic medical record where your doctor securely stores your health information, including lab results, appointment information, medications, immunizations, and more. It provides convenient communication with our office to renew prescriptions and send messages to your physician.

How to Register for Our Patient Portal

1. Go to www.doccareny.com 2. Click on “Patient Portal” in the upper right corner.

3. Click “New User”.

4. Enter the information that is requested.

5. You will receive an email with your new Patient Portal password.

How to Log into Your Patient Portal

1. Go to www.doccareny.com 2. Click on “Patient Portal” in the upper right corner

3. Enter your email address and password.

How to Change Your Patient Portal Password

1. Click on “Change Password” in the upper right corner.

2. Create a new password and click “OK”.

Navigating Your Patient Portal Home Page

Your Home Page gives you quick access to your medical chart and an overview of your upcoming appointments, as well as any secure messages that you may have received.

Navigating Your Medical Profile

Clicking on the “Medical Profile” tab will bring you to your complete medical profile. Here you can view and edit your medical profile in separate sections.

Navigating Your Messages

1. Clicking the "Messages" tab will bring you to your secure messaging inbox, where you can view your incoming messages and send secure messages to your provider.

2. Click “Send a New Message” to send a secure message to your provider. Be sure to select the correct provider and message category from the drop-down menus.

Making an Appointment

Clicking on the “Appointments” tab will open the appointment scheduler.

Viewing Your Documents

Clicking on the “Documents” tab will allow you to view any available documents from your medical record.
