The Mardi Gras Gala is one of our annual fundraisers for St. Louise School. All friends of St. Louise are welcome! This flyer will give you more information regarding what you can expect at this exciting event. Please join us for our biggest event of the year!

If you would like to volunteer to help in settingup the event, cleaning up, or working various stations for a couple of hours during the night of the event, watch for flyers in Back Pack Mail for more details on how you can help. If you or your company is willing to make a donation of any kind (gift certificates, services, tickets, etc.), we are still looking for items for our silent and live auctions. Online invitations will be sent to all school families in January. Tickets are $100/couple or $60/individual. School families who bring additional non-school families as guests can receive discounted tickets for all attendees – look for details in the invitation! It’s also important to note that all money spent on raffle tickets, auction items, admission tickets, etc. will be applied to your annual Family Share obligation!

When and where isthe Mardi Gras Gala?

6:00 p.m. - Happy Hour with live entertainment from The River City Brass Band in the upper level of LeGras

7:00 p.m. – Gala begins in lower level of LeGras

Guests will be greeted by a live brass band to start your Mardi Gras right. The food is themed to give you that New Orleans flair. All food and drink is included in the ticket price, so come hungry! There is an open bar with wine, beer, and our Mardi Gras Vodka Bar. In addition to food, drinks, DJ, and dancing, there will be numerous ways to support the school and win a variety of fabulous prizes. These include:

Silent and Live Auctions: Guests will have the chance to bid on dozens of items with values from a few dollars to a few thousand dollars! This includes priceless art handcrafted by your children!

Grand Raffle: One of the most-anticipated events of the evening is the Raffle. Just one ticket gives you the chance to win a wide variety of valuable prizes – like a $1,000 Giant Eagle Gift Card!

Tuition Raffle: All school families will receive tickets to buy for one of everyone’s favorite raffles of the evening – the chance to win free tuition for one child for a year!

Purse Raffle: Guests will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for a luxury purse auction. Place your tickets in the purse(s) you like the best, and the winner will be drawn at the Gala. One lucky purse will have a little extra surprise inside.

One of the most exciting raffles at the Mardi Gras Gala is our Grand Raffle.

All prizes have a value of at least $1,000.00!The price per ticket is $100 and 100% will be applied to your Family Share. Please send in your ticket and check made payable to St. Louise de Marillac School. Please indicate Grand Raffle in the memo section of the check and write Grand Raffle on the envelope as well. The drawings will take place at the Gala on February 7th, 2014. Winners need not be present. If you do not wish to sell the ticket to friends and family or purchase it yourself, please return it to the school office. The next generation of leadership will rely on our ability to provide children with the tools and resources needed to learn in today's fast changing world.
