What is the Global Studies Experience (GSE)

The GSE involves participating in volunteer placements around the globe.

You would take one course to prepare for the placement and another course to understand the placement after it is finished.

We recommend doing the GSE in your third year of study.

Why do the Global Studies Experience (GSE)?

Obtain “hands-on” skills in your field of interest.

Understand yourself, the world, and your career goals better.

Broaden your awareness of the challenges of global justice and social equity.

Money is available from the Global Studies Fund to help cover the costs. Last year each student received approximately $2,000.
