The course consists of 4 Units.
Unit 1 – Theory of Manual Handling
Unit 2 – Musculoskeletal awareness and biomechanics
Unit 3 – Efficient movement principles in practice
Unit 4 – Teaching and training skills to deliver manual handling
Units 1 & 2 are completed by self-direct study in your workplace.
Units 3 & 4 are delivered over 2 days by a qualified trainer.
The overall duration is 40 hours.
