WHAT IS ONE PIECE?

One Piece is a magnificent manga/anime written by Eiichiro Oda. No, it isnt a swimsuit, if that was yourfirst though. If you yet dont know what anime is, I shall explain it shortly: It's a sort of cartoon made in aspecial style. It's quite different and you could always make difference between an American andJapanese "cartoon". The same goes for manga, it's simply put a comic made in special style of drawing.

One piece is quite old, made back in 1997, but it's still ongoing. This makes it one of the oldest animewhich still airs new episodes. The story has been sold in more than 345 million copies of manga volumes.It may be even on the same level as Dragon Ball manga, which is considered as the best manga/animeever made in Otaku world. By the way, o taku is a person obsessed with something, closed in a worldmade by her. Mostly they lack society skills. Therefore, they dont have many friends.

SUMMARY

When you speak about One Piece, even in summary, you just have to start retrospectively. I think thatEiichiro Oda planned One Piece to a perfect bit from when he wrote his first sentences:

Wealth. Fame. Power.

The man who had achieved everything in life, like none before him, was the Pirate King, Gold Roger.

The few words he spoke at his execution drove people the world over to take to the seas:

"My treasure? If you want it, you can have it.

Seek it out! I left everything in my life at that place!"

(Men, bound for the Grand Line, will chase after their dreams.)

The world is about to witness a Great Age of Piracy-- !

Those words were said by an eternal Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. He said them on his execution bywanting to make a New Age of Piracy, of true Freedom. He was truly enjoying his very own death, and

passed away with a smile which has won his greatest battle, the battle of life he lived. He certainly diedthe way lived, without regrets.

Few years later, a boy with an enormous will has been born. His name was Luffy. By the way, Luffy ismain character in manga/anime. He is a person that would never give up, strongly bound to his friends.

Back when he was just a merely kid, he lived on very visited island. One day a pirate, Red-haired Shanks,came to his village and they became friends really fast. While they were having a banquet, Luffy ate oneof Devil fruits Shanks owned called Gomu Gomu no Mi. That has made him a man of rubber, andunfortunately, unable to swim. A small group of bandits attacked the bar while they were having fun,and took Luffy afterwards. Shanks saved him later, although he lost his left arm protecting him from asea monster. On Shankss leave, Luffy vowed to him that he will gather stronger pirate crew than his,and no matter what, become a Pirate King. Shanks just smiled on that, and gave him his greatesttreasure, Straw hat, given to him by his captain, Gol D. Roger.

One piece world is made of 5 great seas: East, West, North, South, and the strongest one, Grand Line.There are various creatures, actually, anything on your mind could be found there, starting from somedinosaurs up to the high-technic stuffs. One important part of it are Devil fruits, and their users. Devilfruit is a special shaped fruit that gives power once you ate it. There are random sorts of it, and everygives different power to you, like turning yourself to fire, sand, ice, and light. This sort of fruit is calledLogia. There are Zoan, which gives you ability to transform into an animal, and Paramecia, which is theone Luffy has eaten.

After a couple of years, Luffy trained hard, and finally set sail. Soon on his leave, he faced the monsterthat bite off Shanks arm and knocked it down in one -shot by using his rubber expanding fist. Of course,Luffys knowledge of navigation were even to zero. In no time, he ran into a vortex. His bes t though wasto pack himself in a barrel, because he was unable to swim.

Few days later, a Coby, an involuntary member of Alividas pirate crew has pulled him into their ship.Other members were suspicious, so they opened the barrel at the same time Luffy jumped from it. Heknocked them out in no time. When Luffy heard Cobys story, he wanted to beat Alvida, and liberateCoby. He said one of his famous quotes: If I succeed, that's fine. If I die, that's fine also. Luffy inspiredhim to take his dream serious and to talk back to Alvida. After he done that, Luffy protected him bybeating her. Coby is dreaming of becoming an admiral of Marines. Marines are an organization thatmaintain order and make up laws, shortly, force that oppose pirates. After this accident they continuedtheir jorney to one marine island where they met a pirate hunter, Roronoa Zoro. Luffy then saved thatvillage from a Marine captain called Morgan. He was just an egocentric tyrant. In the meantime he

became friend with Zoro by saving his life. Coby was employed by that marine station, and theycontinued journey without him. Zoro is a person that dreams of becoming a best swordsman in theworld. They have made such a perfect pair.

CONCLUSION

If you want to find out how is their journey going now, please read manga or watch anime. I suggest todo both. Dont let bad animation breaks your will to watch it. You wont be disappointed, i guarantee.

One Piece is manga that can help you to find a reason to live in this world. It has served its purpose asliterary work, at least for me, because it has learned me the way of living as dreamer. There will be somany parts in it where you will laugh so hard that water will start coming from your eyes, as well astimes where you will cry like a little baby. Also, it consist beautiful thoughts about life, love, freedomand mostly friendship. Watching it makes you wanna dream, wanna accomplish something in this world.

Thanks to it, I even learned a way to beat death. Yes, it indeed may sound funny, but I did. You just needto smile to her, nothing more. Death smiles at all, all a man can do is to smile back.
