The reason why I went to Spain

• Participate in the international volunteer

• Brush up my English skills

• Make some friends allover the world

• International exchange

Volunteer

• The volunteer was only in the summer vacation.

• Children had some problems in their family.

• The volunteers gathered from all over the

world.

• Basic contents of volunteer were childcare.

Because/ My hobby is playing the guitar.

I taught how to play the guitar for children.

However, it was difficult to talk with

children. They have various problems in their

family, so they were not open up to me.

Spanish music education

Most activities were group work.

There was no age restriction in the activities.

Children could choose activities themselves.

Leaders don’t instruct the children anything.

difference of habits about music between Japan and Spain

sense of rhythm… When we did music activity,

all Spanish kids used offbeat

to clap their hands.

It is different from Japan… Japanese use off

beat to clap their

hands…

Why…?

It is due to roots of music and language.

Most Spanish music use offbeat so, they use offbeat.

Japanese traditional music consists of repetition of

offbeat and upbeat.

• Contents was played the guitar and

sang about nursery rhyme.

• I did these activities in collaboration

with university staff.

• Infants can’t understand the instructions.

• Show music activities is better than teach

how to do music activities for Infants.

• Infants prefer exercise to mentally

challenge game .

• Infant’s interests are distracted.

• Infants can’t keep concentration more than

10 minutes.
