Especially … I did music activities!!

Because/ My hobby is playing the guitar.

I taught how to play the guitar for children.

However, it was difficult to talk with

children. They have various problems in their

family, so they were not open up to me.

Spanish music education

Most activities were group work.

There was no age restriction in the activities.

Children could choose activities themselves.

Leaders don’t instruct the children anything.

Percentage of elementary school with music teacher

(from TORONTO STAR)

Percentage of elementary schools with music teachers

Music teachers are decreasing year by year In Canada

The result indicate difficulty

of taking music classes for

Canadian children.

In addition, Canadians can make

school schedule themselves. So, it is

possible to don’t take music class.

Canadian focus on children’s will.

It is one of the reason why music

teachers are decreasing.

I felt…

• Infants can’t understand the instructions.

• Show music activities is better than teach

how to do music activities for Infants.

• Infants prefer exercise to mentally

challenge game .

Page 30: What I did and felt in Spain, Canada and Japan...Spanish familiar with offbeat Japanese unfamiliar with offbeat Latin music •Latin music is popular in Latin America and Caribbean

• Infant’s interests are distracted.

• Infants can’t keep concentration more than

10 minutes.

• Music activities facilitate the

communication between parent and child

most concentrated
