What FSAE is??• It is an organisation that carries out student automotive
racing competitions around the world.
• FSAE racing competitions take place every year in more
than 10 countries.
• This is an opportunity for students to show their
engineering skills before the world by designing and
building formula based vehicle.
• The competition takes place over a week and judged by
different leading F1 car chief engineers.
IIT Roorkee Motorsports
IITRMS is a group of Engineering Students competing in International Collegiate Design event- Formula Student.
We design, fabricate ,analyze, test and run a race car.
First time in Dec. 2011 we represented India at Formula SAE Australia. This year we went to Formula Student UK in the month of July.
Types Of Events
There are two types of events in Formula Student-
Static: Technical Inspection ,Cost & Manufacturing, Presentation and Design
Dynamic: Acceleration, Skid Pad, Autocross, Fuel Economy and Endurance.
Achievements
1st in fuel efficiency.
6th in Cost and Manufacturing
16th in endurance Race
19th in business plan presentation
