Today, we’ll be using

You’ll be given a document entitled, “Convergence in the Research on High-Performing, High-Poverty (HP2) Schools” [Guess where you can find this document if you need a digital copy of it??? ;-)]

You’ll also be assigned a number between 1 and 14.

Read the “Convergence Factor” row that has been assigned to you.

Underline any words or phrases that jump out at you.

You’ll have 3 minutes

You’ll have 2 minutes

With an elbow partner, share your 30-second speech and then allow your partner to give examples of where they’ve seen that convergence factor. Take notes as the other person speaks and paraphrase what they said to ensure that you understood correctly. Switch roles with your partner.
