What does personal independence mean to you? For most, independence can mean the freedom of hopping in the car and going where you want to go when you want. For some frail and older adults that freedom is a thing of the past. Imagine if you could no longer drive to your destinations. The SRC volunteer transportation program helps with this by providing personalized transportation service to elderly who can no longer drive. SRC does not charge the client for this service! Our goal is to enable older citizens in Jefferson, Adams, Denver, and Arapahoe Counties to find, have, and make use of a wide range of community resources that will help them experience the aging process with self-sufficiency, self-determination, security, and dignity.
