• Formed in 2008 in response to fill unmet resource needs to the Parkersburg, Iowa F5 Tornado event.

• All-hazard fire, rescue, EMS response organization developed to assist jurisdictions with various resource needs during or after a major event.

• Minimum requirement to join based on training and experience.

• Utilizes national standard credentialing procedures.

• Provides a single coordinating resource/dispatch point for resources assembled from 3 counties.

How to Join

1. Get authorization from your local Fire Chief. 2. Complete the application packet. 3. Return application packet to a Task Force

Board Member. 4. Begin your probationary period training and

deploying with the task force. 5. Follow task force guidelines for training and

currency.
