What are your favorite songs right now? Can you make a playlist to have nearby, on your computer, phone, iPad, at your desk? 2. Try one, or all, of these quick movement breaks!

1. A slow, yummy standing stretch from your fingers to your toes where you feel your ribs lift and your belly stretch and your hips loosen. Take a deep breath and revel in that delicious body.

2. A walk outside, smelling the freshness, listening to the singsong of the birds, let the sun or the rain infuse your spirit, and feel your aliveness!

3. Lay on the floor, bring your knees up, and do a sideways twist laying on the floor, to open up the heart and the shoulders and the hips—oh yeah…(you might only do this if you are alone!)

4. A bellydance to get your joints juiced up, your feminine creative spirit flowing, and put a smile on your face. Bend your knees, and make a figure 8, called a takseem, with your hips, from side to side. Feel the power in your belly. Try a gentle undulation from the ribcage down to your pelvis. Shimmy and gently shake your shoulders and feel the tension release, and your heart open. Have a giggle and loosen up your jaw. Now isn’t that better?

4. Now let’s do a very simple breathing exercise … Sit straight, with your back in alignment, feet on floor, close your eyes, put your hands on your belly, breath in through your nose, breath out through your mouth. Now slow the breath and expand the belly with the inhale, open the chest … in, hollow the belly out as you exhale, out, engage through your core … Breathe in, breathe out, repeat, feel your body relax, yet staying engaged through your creative power center, your core, your belly, your womb … Now how do you feel? Maybe a little quieter, more focused, calmer…sometimes all you need to do is step away from what you are doing to give yourself some space, regain your clarity, and just take a damn break!

This Tribal journey is fascinating, joyful, and soul expanding, and I am so very grateful to you for your life’s work in creating this beautiful and powerful dance and paving the way for all of us.

5. OK, one more thing for you to have fun with! Stand up away from your desk, behind you chair, or wherever you are, you only need a little room … I want you to take up some space! Standing with your feet further than hip width apart, take your arms up and out on the diagonal reaching to the up corners, and stretch through the torso down into the legs and toes, back up through the arms, open the chest and heart, feel your expansion! Now bending all the way down, bend your knees almost to the floor, lift your heels and curling up on yourself, lay your chest over your thighs, open up the back, pull the navel into the spine, like your own little womb … Slowly stand up again and stretch big, like before … take up some space, gals … full on Say your words of desire again, while you are in this full on open position, out loud is better so you can hear yourself, and mean it! Again, curl back in on yourself, down to the floor. Relax and hug your knees. Stand up one more time and spread out, BIG. Then bring your arms down, whoa, notice how you feel… Just take a little walk around the room, walk with intention—heel, toe, heel, toe, head up,

chest lifted, heart open, walk forward from your heart with intention… oh yeah how do you feel now?
