What Do You Call The Lord?

He was/is our creator

John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

He was/is/will be our light

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world:

he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of

darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of

God in the face of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he saith,

Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to

shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

He was/is our liberator

Luke 11:14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and

the people wondered. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in

Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made

us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

He was/is our Messiah

John 1:41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted,

the Christ. John 4:21 - 26

21Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in

this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the

Jews.

23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the

Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must

worship him in spirit and in truth. 25The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ:

when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto

thee am he.Acts 9:22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is

very Christ.

He was/is our substitution

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our

iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are

healed. Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is

every one that hangeth on a tree:

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should

taste death for every man.1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust,

that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the

Spirit:

He was/is our Righteousness

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that

believeth. 1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us

wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is

of God by faith: Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven

opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge

and make war.

He was/is our Peace

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our

iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are

healed. Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by

faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

He was/is our perfection

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)

full of grace and truth.John 19:4 Pilate therefore went forth again,

and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault

in him.

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation

unto all them that obey him;2 Corinthians 5:21 1For he hath made

him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of

God in him.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all

points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

1 Peter 1:19 - 21 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without

blemish and without spot: 20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest

in these last times for you,

He was/is our Salvation

Luke 1:69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant

David; John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in

and out, and find pasture.

He was/is our mediator

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the

man Christ Jesus; Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also

he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better

promises.

Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by

means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might

receive the promise of eternal inheritance. Hebrews 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands,

which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the

presence of God for us: Hebrews 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator

of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than

that of Abel.

He was/is/will be our victory

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the

world.Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh

will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down

with my Father in his throne.

Revelation 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.Revelation 17:14 These shall make war

with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him

are called, and chosen, and faithful.

He was/is our "one of worship"

Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and

worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented

unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Matthew 14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying,

Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Matthew 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying,

All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Luke 24:52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

Hebrews 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
