What do they have in common?
After researching a number of Sweded films, I found that they all include the human voice as background music or sound effects, mimicking the real film’s theme tune, adding a sense of humour to the Swede.
They also tend to use paper/cardboard props e.g. for a gun or a dinosaur, as this is representing the threatening prop however in an ironic way as they are completely harmless made of out paper/cardboard, therefore making it funny and mocking the film.
Sweded films are all usually filmed upon a camcorder, with mediocre graphics and quality, showing that is unprofessional and adding to the fact that it is not to be taken seriously.
