COME & SINGSince 2004, the UIverston International Music Festival

has treated enthusiastic audiences to not only some of the world’s top stars and upcoming new talent, but has also encouraged and inspired local people to perform too.

This year, you have the opportunity to perform at the same festival as Dame Evelyn Glennie, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Catrin Finch & Seckou Keita, Jennifer Pike and Martin Roscoe.

The Ulverston Festival Chorus is looking for confident singers, that are preferably good music readers, to perform in the Choral Concert that closes this year’s Festival.

Held in Ulverston Parish Church on Saturday 27 June at 7.30pm, the repertoire comprises two contrasting works to provide you with a rewarding and enriching choral experience:

Duruflé’s Requiem and Schubert’s Mass in G, both accompanied by organ.

You will benefit from the expert tutelage of John Powell whose enthusiasm and experience always helps achieve amazing results, whilst enjoying yourselves immensely!

Our three workshops, in the Church, are as follows:

Saturday 18 April (9.30am registration) 10am - 4pmSaturday 23 May 10am - 4pmSaturday 13 June 10am - 4pm
