What Causes Infertility in a Woman?
Fertility rapidly declines in many women after reaching the age of thirty-five as well.

Being underweight or obese can both cause infertility to occur. Both of these problems cause hormonal imbalances, which affect ovulation and thus a woman's possibility of
getting pregnant.
Body Weight
Ovulation and menstrual cycle are controlled by a number of hormones that are produced by brain. Any problem with hypothalamus or pituitary gland or the
thyroid may affect hormone production and cause a woman to produce no eggs or rather to have irregular ovulation.
If both the fallopian tubes are blocked, it doesn't become possible for the egg to move down to the uterus from ovary to meet the sperm from male partner. Blocked tubes are the cause of sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea, which lead to pelvic inflammatory disease.
All women having this kind of problem may not always be having an infertility issue but may need infertility treatments like IVF or acupuncture to
become pregnant.
When there are cysts on ovaries, PCOS takes place. This causes hormonal imbalance. Women, who are affected with
this, produce progesterone in huge scale, have facial hair, gets overweight and often faces issues of infertility.
