• 2. Have we trials and temptations? • Is there trouble anywhere? • We should never be discouraged; • take it to the Lord in prayer. • Can we find a friend so faithful • who will all our sorrows share? • Jesus knows our every weakness; • take it to the Lord in prayer.

1. How should we react towards evildoers and workers of iniquity? Psalm 37:1

Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against the workers of iniquity.

Do not get upset.

2. How long will evildoers last? Psalm 37:2

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

3. What happens when we make the Lord our friend? Psalm 37:3

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed.

Your needs will be taken care of.

4. When we delight ourselves in the Lord our Friend,

what will he do for our heart? Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself also in the LORD; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

5. What happens when we are committed to the Lord? Psalm 37:5

Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

6. What will the Lord do to make our light shine? Psalm 37:6

And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.

7. What should we do when wicked people prosper in their ways? Psalm 37:7

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

8. What will the Lord be for us when we are in trouble? Psalm 37:39

But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

9. Why is it important to trust in a true friend? Psalm 37:40

And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
