We are pleased to provide you with Volume 2 of our ABA | IndieBound catalog.

When I think back to 2008, when we �rst partnered with the ABA, it occurs to me that we only o�ered 2 products – the “Café” and “Indie” paper shopping bags. That’s it! Thanks to your support and many impactful suggestions over the years, our list of o�erings has grown tremendously. If you’ve any ideas for new products that you’d like us to o�er independent booksellers, please sing out. I think you will �nd that we are pretty good listeners.

On the cover of this catalog is our brand new Re-Usable Tote. We did lots of research to �nd the best bag and supplier for this tote and we believe that we have hit a home run! This bag is durable, colorful, and delivers a powerful message via the text in the side gussets (see back page of catalog to read the text). Folks lucky enough to possess one of these totes will use it, again and again, with gusto.

In addition to our bags and totes, we have a splendid line of bookmarks, journals, gift card folders, and gift bags that we’ve designed and directly import from Nepal. The lokta plant (from which all Graeham Owens’ paper and products are made) grows wild in the Himalayas at altitudes of 6,500 to 9,500 feet.

It is a renewable and tree free resource. The plant completely regenerates from the same root system after being harvested. The paper is made by hand, a sheet at a time in mountainous villages of Nepal without the use of electricity or petroleum, just as it was over a thousand years ago.Graeham Owens was foundedand is wholly owned by W.
