Day 1: Friday, September 15, 2017 Overnight Flight Set out for

Scandinavia, one of the world’s most

incredible regions. Explore the

fascinating capital cities of

Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo.

See majestic mountains, fjords,

fishing villages, historic towns, and

experience a true milestone as your

ship sails across the Arctic Circle to

the very top of Europe.

Day 2: Saturday, September 16, 2017 Stockholm, Sweden - Tour Begins Your tour opens in captivating

Stockholm, a perfect blend of old and

new. Gather this evening with your

fellow travelers for a welcome

dinner in the old town at Fem Sma

Hus. This stunning restaurant is

comprised of five connected timber-

framed houses from the 17th century

and captures the flavor of a bygone

era. (D)

Day 3: Sunday, September 17, 2017 Stockholm This morning it’s your

choice! You may choose to embark on

a tour of Stockholm’s city sights,

showcasing the city’s greatest vistas

and fascinating attractions including

the Riddarholm Church, the Royal

Palace and the Parliament, concluding

with a visit to Stockholm’s City Hall.

Or, perhaps you would prefer to

explore the narrow streets of Gamla

Stan (Old Town) during a guided

walking tour with a stop at one of

Sweden’s sweetest traditions, a candy

cane-making factory, for a

demonstration. Later, we make a stop

at the one-of-a-kind Vasa Ship

Museum to learn about its shocking

maiden voyage, when it sank in one

nautical mile. This ship,

commissioned in the 1600s by King

Vasa, was raised 334 years later from

the bottom of the harbor. Perfectly

preserved, it offers a rare glimpse into

the amazing craftsmanship of the 17th

century. Your afternoon is at leisure to

explore Stockholm independently. (B)

Day 4: Monday, September 18, 2017 Stockholm - Copenhagen, Denmark Take a morning flight* to delightful

Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.

Later, join a local expert on an

engaging city tour. View Denmark’s

center of Parliament, known as

Christianborg; Amalienborg Palace,

the residence of the Danish royal

family; and the Royal Theater. See the

Little Mermaid Statue, a 1913

sculpture honoring Hans Christian

Andersen’s famous fictional character.

(B)

Day 5: Tuesday, September 19, 2017 Copenhagen Today you may choose

to spend your day at leisure in

Copenhagen or perhaps join an

optional excursion to Frederiksborg

Castle, formerly the residence of the

Danish royal family. (B)

Day 6: Wednesday, September 20, 2017 Copenhagen - Oslo, Norway Fly* to Norway, a land of intense

natural beauty and famous for its deep

fjords, steep mountain roads, Viking

legends and well-preserved historical

sites. Upon arrival, your tour of regal

Oslo features the remarkable Viking

Ship Museum, Karl Johan Street, a

view of the Royal Palace, City Hall

and the new Opera building. Then it’s

on to Vigeland Park where you will

find the collection of statues and

sculptures that comprise Gustav

Vigeland's life’s work. (B)

Day 7: Thursday, September 21, 2017 Oslo - Myrdal - Flåm Railway - Gudvangen - Voss Today you

embark on the legendary “Norway

in a Nutshell” tour! All aboard the

Bergen Railway to experience

Europe’s most scenic rail journey.

Have your camera ready as this

legendary tour takes you through

Norway’s most breathtaking fjord and

mountainous terrain on its way to

Bergen. Switch trains in Myrdal and

travel 12 miles on the famous Flåm

Railway, a masterpiece of

engineering, taking you 2,800

breathtaking feet in 55 minutes to the

village of Flåm on Sognefjord,

Norway's longest (120 miles) and

deepest (more than a mile). Next,

cruise Nærøyfjord (UNESCO), the

narrowest fjord in Europe with

stunning views of waterfalls and small

farms clinging to the steep

mountainsides. In Gudvangen, your

journey continues by bus to a remote

mountain resort. Spend the night

surrounded by one of Norway’s

greatest products – natural landscapes.

(B, D)

Day 8: Friday, September 22, 2017 Voss - Bergen - Norwegian Coastal Voyage - Board Ship This morning

journey to Bergen, one of Norway’s

oldest and most iconic cities. Join

your fellow travelers on a leisurely

paced walking tour of Bergen. Explore the picturesque, old Bryggen

Wharf (UNESCO) with its tiny

wooden houses and narrow streets.

Mingle with the locals at the fish

market, located in the "heart" of the

city. Then prepare for your

memorable 5-night cruise – the

“World’s Most Beautiful Voyage” –

sailing along the stunning Norwegian

coastline. This evening board your

Hurtigruten ship. Sit back and take in

the treasure trove of landscapes,

scenery, sights and sounds that

surround you. (B, D)

Day 9: Saturday, September 23, 2017 Norwegian Coastal Voyage - Northbound This morning’s view

from the ship will be of either the

tranquil Stadthavet Sea or the majestic

Geirangerfjord as we make our way to

the charming village of Alesund.

Take a stroll through the fairy-tale

streets of Alesund, a vibrant town

known for its colorful art nouveau

architecture and its stunning setting at

the entrance of the Geirangerfjord.

Then it’s on to Molde for a brief stop

at this trading and cultural hub dating

back to medieval times. (B, L, D)

Day 10: Sunday, September 24, 2017 Norwegian Coastal Voyage -

Northbound Today, enjoy some time

in the historic city of Trondheim. Founded by Viking King Olav in A.D.

997, it was the location of the first

capital of Norway and is still the city

where new kings receive their

ceremonial blessings. Later, continue

toward the Land of the Midnight Sun,

passing rugged coastlines en route to

Rorvik which sits among 6,000

islands. (B, L, D)

Day 11: Monday, September 25, 2017 Norwegian Coastal Voyage - Northbound Today you become one

of a select few as our cruise ship

crosses the Arctic Circle on our way

to Bodo. Gaze at the distant rugged

peaks and to the infinite sky…keep an

eye out for white-tailed sea eagles

found in this region. Continue sailing,

crossing the stunning Vestfjord and

past the breathtaking Lofoten Islands

before pausing briefly at the villages

of Stamsund and Svolvaer. Later, sail

on past the majestic Trollfjord. (B, L,

D)

Day 12: Tuesday, September 26, 2017 Norwegian Coastal Voyage - Northbound Take in the serenity as

we sail past a chain of islands on our

way to the small town of Harstad.

Stop here for a moment before

continuing on to Tromso, capital of

the Arctic. Find yourself immersed

in beautiful fjords and mountains. Located 220 miles north of the Arctic

Circle, Tromso is home to the world's

northernmost university, botanical

garden and cathedral. (B, L, D)

Day 13: Wednesday, September 27, 2017 Norwegian Coastal Voyage -

Northbound Your voyage continues

along Norway’s northernmost region,

pausing briefly along the way at

sleepy villages and busy ports

surrounded by breathtaking

panoramas. Have some time in the

peaceful town of Honningsvag, the

capital of North Cape, situated closer

to the North Pole than it is to Oslo. (B,

L, D)

Day 14: Thursday, September 28, 2017 Norwegian Coastal Voyage - Kirkenes - Disembark Ship - Oslo Early this morning we arrive in

Kirkenes, home to the Sami people

who have herded reindeer for

centuries. Disembark your ship and

fly* back to Oslo. Gather this evening

for a farewell dinner celebrating the

end of an unforgettable trip filled with

the breathtaking scenery and cultural

treasures of Scandinavia. (B, D)

For important reservation information visit https://gateway.gocollette.com/link/755984. You can also find this information on your tour documents.

Norway reveals some of the world’s most beautiful scenery and many once-in-a-lifetime

experiences await on your cruise along the coastline. Travel to this quiet place at the top

of the world, reaching the highest point in Europe. Visit a town that is only 1,304 miles

away from the North Pole. Relax on deck while you cross into the Arctic Circle. Each

season produces a new adventure. Travel October through March and find yourself in

search of the Aurora Borealis – the dazzling northern lights. Travel in May through July

when the sun never sets and experience firsthand what it is like to live in the Land of the

Midnight Sun. Your cruise gives you those unique experiences while being immersed in

nature’s beauty.

Please Note: Single accommodations are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Triple accommodations are not available on this tour. To complete your tour, we include roundtrip airport-to-hotel transfers when purchasing our airfare with your tour. If you have arranged for your own air, we are pleased to provide you the option of purchasing these transfers. Please note that all transfers will leave at prescheduled times. Luggage handling to and from the ship is not available. Hurtigruten’s ships are working vessels operating a regular service to a set timetable. The ships carry goods, vehicles and passengers between ports, by night and day, as an integral part of Norwegian daily life. The ships are calling at ports around the clock. Cabin choices are inside or outside. Cabins are assigned by Hurtigruten; stateroom numbers will be supplied upon arrival at the ship in Bergen, Norway. It is not common practice to tip on Hurtigruten ships on the coastal voyage; however, if you feel that crew members should be rewarded for providing exceptional service, tip boxes are placed in the restaurant together with envelopes. The northern lights are in the Northern Hemisphere from October through March and are only visible when the sky is clear and free of clouds. As viewing is weather dependent, sightings of the northern lights are not guaranteed. It is recommended that you wear good sturdy, non-slip footwear and warm clothing including thermals, hat, scarf and gloves. You should also bring a flashlight which is helpful in the dark and when operating your camera at night. Using a tripod is recommended for taking the best photos.

May through July affords you the opportunity to experience the “midnight sun,” offering up to 24 hours of sunlight above the Arctic Circle and giving

you more time to enjoy the sights and make new discoveries.

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven grounds and cobblestone streets.

Please be advised many airlines do not provide advance seat assignments until check-in at the airport. Advance seating will be subject to the airline's terms and conditions.

*The internal flights on this program (Stockholm to Copenhagen, Copenhagen to Oslo, and Kirkenes to Oslo) are not included in the land price of your tour. These flights need to be arranged and purchased separately if you arrange your own air. Internal flights are included with the air portion of your tour if you purchase air through us.

Travel on Day 7 is a combination of rail, bus and ferry. Train departs Oslo at 8:00 a.m. and arrives in Bergen at approximately 8:30 p.m. It is recommended that you purchase snacks and drinks the day prior. A café on the train is available during your trip from Oslo to Myrdal and also during your stop in Flåm. On this day, luggage will be taken separately from Oslo and delivered directly to the hotel in Bergen.

Economy air rate and schedule are applicable for groups of 10 or more traveling on the same flights and dates.

A deposit of $250 per person due upon reservation. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Reservations made after the deposit due date of March 09, 2017 are based upon availability. Final payment due by May 15, 2017. Please note: deposits are fully refundable up until March 16, 2017, after that date certain charges apply.
